The Oklahoma City Thunder hosted final auditions for its 2008-09 dance team, Thursday night at Toby Keith’s “I Love This Bar and Grill” in Bricktown. With a process that started with over 180 women last Sunday, 41 competed for a place on the team, and judges narrowed the selection down to 20 talented dancers.
Dance team hopefuls performed in pairs on Thursday night in front of over 500 Thunder fans. Of the 41 dancers to make the squad, six come from Oklahoma City, three from Texas, and one from as far away as Springdale, AR.
Auditions were open to females over the age of 18, who were energetic, had dance experience and were interested in performing at Thunder home games.

I went down pretty far into the thread, and admittedly, I'm a little dissapointed. I understand that the softer posters on the board, may feel the need to group together, and maybe even have their own little section to post whatever they like, as they like, but i do find the complaining to be a bit, Sour? If you really have a problem with a poster, and the comment, or respons to your comment, You should let that poster know, and if need be even contact Royce, Which by the looks of it, Some of you have. Justin is right about how this could largely have a negative impact on the board as a whole. I personally don't care if you all feel the need to seperate yourself, but that "us vs them" mentality isn't the one to have. I understand the posters on the main thread can be pretty vulgar, because i can be but you knew that stepping onto a internet sports site with no true moderater. I have lost a little respect for some of ya with the behind the back talk. Like i said though, I cam understand why you guys felt the need to move over to another thread but, just like i found it, Posters over time may. This will almost certainty be my last post on this thread, Sinply because i don't want to interfere with what you all have going on here. Don't worry, I'll pretend like i never saw this thread.

I wasn't intending to ever post again, however, the lack of posting from the people here is disturbing. Not that fact that there's a drop in posting here, but I'm not seeing as much activity in the main threads from people like novie, Barry, TC, EST. I haven't seen ou_sas at all. Keep posting. Even if it is just in here.
@Fezzy I agree and that was my general point. I didn't like the griping here and I chose not to participate, so I would not be guilty by association. That being said, my larger point is/was that DT is the sum of its posters. For the most part that used to be Oboy, TC, ou_sas, and then everyone else. Now its kind of just everyone else. You get what you make of something.
I know I kind of came across as angry and to an extent I was given the circumstances of the specific conversation I replied to. However, I do like all of the posters that have posted here and I don't think any less of you for posting here.
It is the holiday season and I know everyone is busy, so let's cut them some slack, Fezzy. (But not too much ;) )

@ThunderChick2010 Yeah I saw. You were still the highest volume posters and that can do a lot to shape the tone of conversation. It's not all on you three, but when we talk about DT, you three are the Kobe's (or Kevin's if you prefer) and there are others that are Jamal Crawford's (or other Kevin's if they prefer).
I posted this (http://www.shirky.com/writings/group_enemy.html) in the summer in response to dynamictrio and it is scary/amusing/pick-your-own-adjective how quickly it turned out to be true.
I too would be on DT more if not for the "extra hours for everyone" at my work. I know people have lots of personal commitments this time of year, and finals for the younger ones, so I can certainly sympathize.
