The Orlando Pro Summer League kicks off tomorrow (or today, depending on when you’re reading this) and a lot of folks have been wondering when and/or where they can see the Thunder’s summer squad play.
The league runs from the 6th to the 10th and the Thunder will play every day for a total of five games. The games will be four 10-minute quarters, halftime is just eight minutes and teams are allowed two 30-second timeouts per half. Also, players are allotted 10 personal fouls. I have no idea why. Anyway, here’s the schedule. All times CST.
Monday, July 6th
Oklahoma City vs. Orlando – 4 p.m
Tuesday, July 7th
Oklahoma City vs. Indiana – 6 p.m.
Wednesday, July 8th
Oklahoma City vs. Boston – 4 p.m.
Thursday, July 9th
Oklahoma City vs. New Jersey/Philadelphia – 2 p.m.
Friday, July 10th
Utah vs. Oklahoma City – 10 a.m.
The Orlando Magic’s official site will be streaming every game, so you can see the games by clicking HERE. Box scores, game recaps and cumulative stats can also be found at the Magic’s official site. Also, winning matters about as much here as it does in your Saturday morning men’s league, so don’t take these games too seriously.

Thanks for post. Nice to see such good ideas.
rewind to presti & fridays bolts ...
the guy has upgraded every position. he gets krstic for cheap ... krstic is the best big man on the roster. he gets livingston for cheap, he's the best backup point guard on the team ... gets thabo for cheap, he gave the team an entirely different defensive presence from day one ... he literally got 3 solid players without sacrificing anything!
compare the current thunder roster to durant's rookie year in seattle ... now combine the extra (non-personnel) assets ... then tell me you have any questions about his management of the team ...
thunder is led by a 20 yr old phenom who played his first season & a quarter horribly out of position ... & by a 20 yr old lead guard who is basically learning to play the point ...
If you had told me a year and a half ago that I would be so excited about the NBA summer league, I probably would have asked you what the NBA summer league even was.
Now, it's only like five weeks until college football, and I don't even care, because we get to watch the NBA summer league this afternoon. How messed up have I become?
sweet! I'll be watching. Thanks for the scoop, Royce.
I still like our team better.
PG Westbrook, Livingston
SG Harden, Vaden
SF Weaver
PF White, Ibaka
C Mullens, Hardin
plus the non-roster folks
It will be fun. I still like wins of course. Just for some fun discussion, Orlando's summer league roster looks fairly good actually:
No. Name Pos. Ht. Wt. Last Team/College
6 Maurice Ager G 6-2 220 New Jersey Nets/Michigan State
41 Lance Allred C 6-11 260 NBDL Idaho Stampede/Weber State
33 Ryan Anderson F 6-10 240 New Jersey Nets/California
3 Brian Chase G 5-10 170 Dynamo Moscow/Virginia Tech
21 Ronald Dupree F 6-7 209 NBDL Utah Flash/Louisiana State
10 Courtney Fells G 6-6 210 North Carolina State
2 Levance Fields G 5-10 190 Pittsburgh
23 C.J. Giles F 6-11 240 Smart Gilas Pilipinas (Philippines)/Oregon State
35 Richard Hendrix F 6-9 255 NBDL Dakota Wizards/Alabama
16 Stevan Milosevic C 7-0 260 Koeln 99ers (Germany)
1 Jeremy Pargo G 6-2 220 Gonzaga
22 Kasib Powell F 6-7 215 NBDL Sioux Falls Skyforce/Texas Tech
19 Milovan Rakovic F 6-10 280 Spartak Saint Petersburg (Russia)
32 Jeremy Richardson F 6-7 195 Orlando Magic/Delta State
24 Russell Robinson G 6-1 190 NBDL Reno Bighorns/Kansas
5 Darian Townes F 6-10 250 NBDL Erie BayHawks/Arkansas
Maurice Ager has been around the NBA and can play a bit. Ryan Anderson is a nice big shooter that played alongside Devon Hardin at Cal. He was a 1st rounder and was in the Vince Carter trade. Lance Allred played for Idaho, which was the Seattle D league affiliate and got a call up two years ago with Cleveland. Ron Dupree is a former OKC Thunder player for about a minute. He can really shoot. Richard Hendrix is a good big man. I think he will get a NBA job. Jeremy Pargo is Jannero's brother.....They are not complete scrubs. I think we have more NBA talent, but this team looks pretty good, especially the three big men in Allred, Hendricks and Anderson.
Haha, I see Orlando is bringing back Dante and Galante for play by play and color. I remember them from last year. They are pretty funny. They don't pay much attention to the games though. But I'll be glad to listen to their terrible broadcasting again for the next 5 days.
This week just became awesome...
