The best thing about this game is that it’s on TV. And that it’s at home. One way or the other, we finally have a chance to get a GOOD look at the new players. No more blurry webcam feeds or radio calls. We get it to see it live and for real. That alone gets me excited for a meaningless preseason game. (Though as of right now, the game isn’t showing up in my guide…)
Injuries: Nick Collison is out for today’s game and Scott Brooks said Thabo Sefolosha might play. Everyone else is green means go.
What to watch:
Serge Ibaka. I don’t know what Scott Brooks’ plans are, but he’s the guy we all want to see. D.J. White sat against NOLA Saturday so I’d surmise that White will get more minutes tonight, but we all want a good look at Serge.
Other than, let’s all use tonight to finally get a good look at our team and for those going, the new Ford Center.

Anyway, though I've yet to actually see our guys play, I've been very encouraged by the box scores. It looks like Westbrook has really been improving! If he can take care of the ball even nearly as well as he has in these 3 games, this team might have a better season than even many Thunder fans are projecting.
It seems like folks have been saying nice things about Ibaka too--is it possible that he will exceed expectations and find himself with regular minutes?
Long is horrible . . . he's commenting on a game he should have watched to prepare for this one . . .

was initially against OT in preseason BUT
you are playing guys that wont get major PT so it's no big deal AND you get to see these guys more than you would under normal circumstances . . .

Incredible. Griffin is a PF in a SF body. Maybe he's just pandering to his OU audience... hopefully.
Harden has a big learning curve but it's not going to be as rough for him as it was for Green and Durant or even Westbrook. He'll get it, but in the mean time we've still got Seffy!

we're going to lose this game. Our second unit really imploded. Seems like no one was designated as the No. 1 option, so it was a lot of every man for himself type play.
I'm sure Brooks noticed this and decided to keep them all out there so he could prove a point in the video room tomorrow.

Most teams don’t start all of their best players (Manu) so why not Green on the bench, with all of the league already knowing who he is and that he would get a lot of attention in that second unit.
I would be surprised if Brooks did that - with all the hyping of the young big three - but we've been saying this for awhile - we are better when he comes off the bench . . .

I think we're going to have a starting talent in the 6th man role regardless of whether it's Harden, Sefolosha and maybe Ibaka in a year. Sorry, I'm a little drunk from all the Kool Aid they've been serving this game.

Green IMO would be better served as sixth man, we could be deadly with a starter caliber player coming off the bench
like Ollie helping out Harden - the coaches shouldnt have to do all the instructing . . .

I was just looking that up. I thought that I always read he was 6'10". But, his arms are LONG. He definitely plays more like a C than a PF. Am I wrong?

They had Ibaka listed at 6 11 on the pregame.
Ibaka is doing alright as the C right now. I wonder how he can defend 7 footers. He's got the ups to make up for any height disadvantage IMO.
Gonna be a fun season.
