View from the enemy: Hornets 24/7

Hello? Anybody here?

So who’s listening to the Thunder play a preseason game over watching OU-Baylor or the end of OSU-Texas A&M? Anybody?

Regardless, the Thunder will go ahead and play in New Orleans against the Hornets. Scott Brooks mentioned that he plans to mix up the starting lineups, so who knows what we’ll see. No word yet on Kevin Ollie, Nick Collison and James Harden’s statuses.

What to listen for:
In the preseason, you’re looking to sharpen little things. You’re going to see different lineups and guys that don’t normally play or aren’t even on the roster. So you just want to improve specifically in areas. One area I’d like to see better: 3-point shooting. OKC hit 2-13 against Memphis. Not that good. One interesting thing: Scott Brooks mentioned that he plans to switch up starting lineups throughout the preseason and work in different players. He said Friday that you’ll see more Serge Ibaka and Nenad Krstic Saturday and less D.J. White.

The good news is, with the replacement refs, after the OU game finishes, you can probably tune in to the second half of the Thunder game.

Tip at 1 p.m CST. Go everyone.
