Kevin Durant supports this shirt

by Royce Young on December 16, 2009 at 10:26 am 27 Comments

Our good friends from Tree and Leaf had a chance to to go Kevin Durant’s Giving Tree last night and besides being good people and donating to an excellent cause, they had a chance to hand over a couple Broingtons shirts to their rightful owners.

KDBroingtonBlog

As noted there, we’ll have a complete restock in all Daily Thunder shirts by next Monday, so please be patient as they seem to be a hot item this Christmas. You’ll get a shirt eventually and we’re already in the process of getting a few new models ready. And they will be neato, guaranteed.

I would love to get an xxl tall version of some of the daily thunder shirts, so it wouldn't be just the team that would be buying them for what it count.

35% for KD almost splits the difference between his rookie and sophomore years, I wouldn't be too unhappy with that as his percentage going forward.

@justin

yea for somereason the two of them don't seem to be firing from range very well so far this year. Not sure as to why and greens shot just seems to be off this year. again no clue as to why :/

KD is at 34% in his last 15 games from 3pt.. finding the range a bit.

@f5alcon

1-3, 2-5, 1-4, 1-2, 0-5, 3-6, 0-5, 0-3. 3-7, 1-4, 1-2, 1-4, 1-4, 0-2, 1-6.

Jeff Green's last 15 games from 3pt range. 25.8%.

@justin

jeff green spreads the floor with his 3 point shooting. Im not against getting him like kev, but he should come off the bench as backup PF

When will the new models be out? I wanna see what ideas there are for Serge.

@f5alcon

Jeff Green has a slight advantage over Anthony Randolph in TS% and scoring efficiency, but Anthony Randolph is a far better rebounder and shot blocker. His block percentage is twice Jeff Green's and his rebound percentage is more than 7% higher.

Randolph is a nice prospect that really needs a change of scenery. He's already a very effective rebounder (he would be the best rebounder on our team by a fair margin), and shotblocker (second to Ibaka). He can hit his free throws. If his offense comes together, and there have definitely been flashes, he could be a decent starting power forward. We'd definitely have one of the longest front courts.

It's should be there tomorrow. We emailed you a tracking number, it happened to be back ordered when you placed your order.@Zombie Brew

randolph would be ok if he will come off the bench behind green, but not in place of green

@Royce
Thanks, I just did, they said they would look into it. I am just jonesing to put it on. Hope There wasn't a problem with the order, it was two weeks ago and they said they sent them all out a while ago. The boys club shirt looks sick, I want one so bad. I would say it is the best of the bunch. Is there romm for Ibaka, Green, and Randolph?

@Zombie Brew
You might want to call and ask. I'm sure they could help you out.

I ordered my Zombie shirt well over a week ago, and nothing yet. I want to order more for xmas, but the delivery time does not give me confidence for a gift idea.

Yeah hopefully it fits. Kind of hard to accomodate a 6'10 guy.

Love this.

Maybe the next phase of shirts could have the XXL option (extra, extra long). I think that would definitely go over well.

@dork
I can report he was very happy. The whole story is pretty awesome.

Is it me or does he seem to be happy he got one of these shirts?
