(Hola angels. Thanks for your support of Daily Thunder. Shine on you crazy diamonds.)
I think this video fits the true spirit of this post. You could say this is an actual cartoon of sorts, or at least appeals to the demographic that still likes cartoons: eight-year-olds and Royce. And while this video about Rumble the Bison is old, I’ve never seen it. My favorite part is how they paint Rumble as a loner wandering the earth until he found a home with basketball players. I’m just thankful in his travels, Rumble didn’t stumble across John Dunbar, amirite? Anyway, soak up the story of Rumble while basking in the glory of that big win over the Nuggs last night.

Vega :One thing that bugs me is mascots harassing fans of the opposing team. I’m going to the Thunder/Bobcats game in Charlotte in March. I’ll be wearing some Thunder swag, and I’ll be holding a sign, so I sort of anticipate a visit from Rufus.
i love it when Rumble throws a pie at an opposing team's fan on the video screen or when he puts on a Thunder jersey over what they are wearing--- it's hilarious.. i went to the game in Dallas wearing my Westbrook jersey and would've loved to have seen them put me on there.. making fun of me or not, i would've still been representing my Thunder..
@Sammy
His resemblance to Squatch is uncanny.
I get sad everytime I see Rumble. He looks like a poor man's Squatch to me.
Hi name is Marc Taylor.

Give it 5-10 minutes, it's still processing
@PNT
I have a really good version that i recorded on my camera back in December, let me upload it real quick.
Anyone know where i can find this year's starting line-up video? I get chills everytime I see it. Could not find it on YouTube.
Rumble is outstanding.. You're not being a homer by saying he's one of the best mascots in basketball-- he really is.. He won Mascot of the Year last year, for good reason.. He's the total package-- he's hilarious, he's a great athlete, he can do it all.. He comes up with those skits.. I went to a Mavs game and their mascot sucked.. The guy I was sitting with is a big Mavs fan and he couldn't even remember what their mascot's name was.. Rumble adds a lot to the Thunder experience.. Every fan in the Ford Center would be able to tell you his name..
The guy that plays him was the guy that used to be Sasquatch for the Sonics.. I know two of the Thunder drummers and they say that Rumble is THE nicest guy.. He's a family man and they say he truly cares about doing all the community stuff.. They literally rave over the guy.. Oh, and they say he's got a chiseled body..
Friday's BS report has Simmons talking about Durant and the Thunder at about the 24 minute mark.

Not sure if I asked this already, but does anyone know who plays Rumble? I would imagine he had to have been a D-II athlete at worst. He's got a cannon for an arm and he's a heckuva an athlete.
I remember watching this moments before Rumble's first appearance at the Ford Center (halftime--last season against the Hornets: Rumble descended from the rafters while rocking a flaming drum set). Awesome.
Granted I'm a total homer, but I really think Rumble is probably one of the best mascots in basketball. The dude is legit.
I think it's fantastic that the state's Native American background helped shape and create this story. It's incredible how detailed this organization is.
I am seriously WTFing at the fact that Rumble has a superhero origin story.
