This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now, but it now appears that we’re going to have a REALLY good opportunity to get it done. But I’m kind of looking for a head count of sorts. Simply put: If we had a Daily Thunder pre-game party before a big Friday home game, would you want to come to it? I’ve been asked a lot about this sort of thing but we don’t want to go through the effort just to have 15 people show up.
I’m sure I can pull together some prizes and some other incentives/cool things. Maybe t-shirts, maybe free parking, maybe free something. But best of all, you can see my beautiful face in person. Isn’t that alone worth it?

BTW YES! vote for Bricktown pre-game....
@Left @Jeff Allen
Coincidentally, my husband and I are actually going to that game in Boston on the 31st too! It is my first trip to Boston as well, and I am super excited to see the fabled parquay in person!! We don't have definitive pre-post game plans, but celebrating a Thunder win afterward with Thunder fans would be cool!
Will there or will there not be Thunder Girls at the party? I'm just curious.
Jeff Allen :well also if u guys want to come up march 31st to the TD GARDEN for the celts i would be more than down to have a daily thunder pregamee
I'm actually planning a trip up to Boston for that week to visit a friend, and I'm really excited about trying to go to that game! I was wanting to rock the Zombie Sonics shirt, but wasn't able to get one fast enough. Sigh...
Royce- I would absolutely want to go to a pre-game DT party, for this is my go-to Thunder site, but unfortunately I live in CT, making it impossible for me to get out to OKC. I enjoy everything about this site- the insight, the people who contribute, the Don's crazy comments, Kev's defensive input, Crow's extended analysis, Justin's stats and contributions, as well as the other regular contributors (J.G., Joe, etc.) and everyone else who has an opinion about our beloved team. So I'm sorry to not be able to be a part of it all in OKC, and I have to resort to watching the games on my League Pass. Instead of being able to see everyone, I would just like to say I appreciate everyone on this site and like to think of us all as a big Thunder family. I hope you all have a great time, and I wish I could be there. You're lucky to be able to be close to this team. This is a truly friendly and insightful blog, and I think that everyone's contributions mirror the success the Thunder has had on the court this year. We have great fans supporting a great team. Thank you all.
Long time reader, first post.
I would absoulutely come to a pre-game party!
if you do an away game, we should do it when we play a west coast team, or someone in mountain time so the people who have work can come. maybe utah, denver, or portland?
I'm down for either home or away, but think an away game at Buff Wild Wings w/ perks/prizes for the group is a GREAT idea! Can I get my outlawed zombie sonics shirt autographed by all the DTers.?
I'll be there
I voted yes. I agree with JAX though. Watch party at Buffalo Wild Wings or Coaches or something would be pretty fun and cool.
Australia?
Royce, can you get Presti to swing the team jet for a quick touch and go in Oregon to pick me up?
I know you've got some pull.
@DizzyDai
not sure but I am ;)
148 yes! Amazing. I voted no, but might come if it went down, but damn 148 yes. How many of that are local?
donuteyes :i voted no because i just don’t do that sort of thing, not because i dislike you, your site, or anyone that posts here.
just so you know.
Oh Donuteyes why dust thou hate me?!?!? HeHe

Infact I bet the deep deuce would jump at the opportunity to have that many people there, only problem is that if it's tool cold for the balcony it's a pretty small place.
doing it away from bricktown would be an easy way to get free parking, plus there are alot of good places that would give drink/food specials for the group if you call up on advance.
i'd prefer the away game watch party too.. i'd do either one, though..
Jax Raging Bile Duct :I’m with f5alcon. The logistics of getting off work, to the party, to the game means I’ll have just enough time to shake a few hands. I would prefer an away game at a sports themed restaurant. Maybe reserve a party room, cheer with crew, take turns pretending to be Brian Davis and Grant Long over the karaoke machine. You know, stuff like that. But I’d be down with what you’re doing too.
Seriously I think this one wins from Jax... how hilarious would it be being brian davis and grant long over the karaoke?!?! I mean two props and its golden.. A bald head prop and a dark framed glasses and your set!
I'd love to if I could make it in time (friggin' work lol)
But put me in the watch party for an away game crowd :)
If I could make it down in time I'd love to. Would be a frequent poster on the site but I can't post from my Blackberry:(
Big Friday home game? My guess is LAL 3/26. My crew will go. I'm dying to know where.
I'm down.
Toss me in with the "I'm interested but can't make it to a pregame before a home game on a weekday. Prefer away game watch party" group.
That's quite a group name, by the by.
Well, a fellow DTer at the office already voted, but you could count me as another "yes."
As long as it isn't in Norman. I'm a wanted fugitive there.
I don't have enough time to make it to a pre-game home game party as I barely make it to the game on time as is.
But a road game on a weekend--say Saturday April 3rd would be awesome.
That game could also have some serious playoff implications!
free parking would be a HUGE draw for a pregame party
i want to throw in another vote for an away game watch party
Jax Raging Bile Duct :
take turns pretending to be Brian Davis and Grant Long over the karaoke machine.
haha, now thats thunder basketball

Check out these picks of All Star week from Page 2. Even one with KD.
I'd love to, but unfortunately am in Illinois.
I'd be up for that.
@Anonymous
are you on a corporate network with other thunder fans that already voted?
Man I have to be there for the first playoff home game. I can't miss that. Gotta start saving.
Too bad someone didn't wrangle a suite in exchange for giving up the Zombie Sonics shirts.
Or did he???
ya royce whats up with a playoff party????
@Jeff Allen
yeah dont blame you, its gonna be insane
well also if u guys want to come up march 31st to the TD GARDEN for the celts i would be more than down to have a daily thunder pregamee
haha its ok ive got my playoff ticket covered i have a family who has season tickets :)... im not missing that first game for anything
@Royce Young
hahaha, if they flew in id give up a ticket for them, though not a playoff ticket jeff
but if we make the playoffs i am flying down to the ford for the first home game in OKC thunder history
i would LOVE to BUT...
it takes me more than 20 hrs of flying to get to OKC.
so i probably cant come, damn.
Interested for sure, I voted yes fyi.
@Royce Young
if thats what is is im still in.
I think an away watch party would be awesome as well. Maybe we could do one of those at some point this season as well, possibly a playoff game...?
Come on guys, ever heard of an airplane?
NEW YORK!
I am from Portugal!!!!
