Top jersey sales were released yesterday and check it out: Kevin Durant is up to No. 9. Mid-way through the season Durant sat at No. 15. So in just a few months, his profile really shot up. Here’s the top 15:
1. Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
2. LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers
3. Kevin Garnett, Boston Celtics
4. Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls
5. Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic
6. Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat
7. Chris Paul, New Orleans Hornets
8. Paul Pierce, Boston Celtics
9. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
10. Carmelo Anthony, Denver Nuggets
11. Nate Robinson, Boston Celtics
12. David Lee, New York Knicks
13. Brandon Roy, Portland Trail Blazers
14. Pau Gasol, Los Angeles Lakers
15. Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics
Note: The list is based on sales at the NBA Store in New York City and on NBAStore.com since the start of the 2009-10 NBA season through April 2010.

@DurantDurant
No offense, but those fake debates are always pretty dumb. I read this one for Durant, but there's little actual argument. Bucher says KD is a better scorer and a better defender (at age). Thus, he implies KD will be better than Lebron down the line (except in passing). Broussard claims Lebron is the best thing since sliced bread, says he's basically Magic Johnson meets Michael Jordan, and that Durant will never have the body or passing ability to compete.
Then they get off track and start talking about how important it is to have an assassin in order to win in the NBA (as inevitably they run out of argument in two paragraphs and just start pulling stuff out of their behinds). Bucher says KD is an assassin like Kobe and that's the most important thing in the world, and goes on to condemn Lebron's passing to the open man at the end of games. Broussard essentially says Lebron is definitely an assassin and that the whole idea of Lebron passing to open players being a bad thing is stupid.
Side note: are you a michigan state grad/student?
Does anyone have ESPN Insider? Would love to read this one, captioned "Durant could top LeBron" http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/insider/news/story?id=5145729&action=upsell&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnba%2finsider%2fnews%2fstory%3fid%3d5145729
Since this is an ESPN network site I won't ask for it posted here, but if it appeared in mcgrawk2@msu.edu's inbox it'd make my day.
I got 2 tickets in section 102 for tomorrow I need to sale. Will be out of town and can’t go and I have been offered $300 a piece for them but the guy is a Laker fan and I don’t want a laker fan there. If you are itnerested email me at osulingo@yahoo.com.
If Vegas had odds on who had the best selling jersey next year I would bet my house on Lebron.
I didnt expect Rose to be so high. Big market bump I guess.
I think a lot of the crowd that would buy jerseys bought Nate's because of his slam-dunk performances.
Nate's probably on there because he was the only semi-marketable Knick. I'd imagine most of those Robinson jerseys are NYK ones.
shiki=4 seasons :Nate Robinson is in 11th,I dont believe it.Is it because he is traded to Boston?
How else do you think Nate spends all that money?
I went to the comments section to say the same thing....Nate?
