Saturday Morning Cartoons: A search story

by Royce Young on April 17, 2010 at 8:56 am 24 Comments

(Good morning playoff bound Thunder fans. Thank you for your support of DT. Pour some sugar on me.)

The latest little trend on the Internet is coming up with Google search stories. So I thought, why not (see what I did there)? I realize this is cheesy and devoid of any humor, but still my wife said she thought it was good and so I’m posting it. Enjoy your Saturday, watch some NBA playoff basketball today and start getting mentally prepared for tomorrow.

I'll be at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the game tomorrow, will you?

Thunder Up!!

Utah is screwed in this series if Okur misses a lot of time. We think our frontcourt is weak, Boozer-Millsap at PF-C is getting railed.

anybody else watching the Nuggs/Jazz game that's on right now?

@Dunkenstein
Haven't heard about a watch party.

They said they want a "blue-out" on FSOK during the Memphis game , so I think so about playoff tees.

Any truth to the rumor that fans to game 3 will be given playoff t-shirts at the arena?

what about Whoa's question about the DT watch party? Anybody know who'll be hosting watch parties for tomorrow's game?

@Joe
Agreed. Nads help RW get assists and will help his confidence in driving to the rack for fouls or hitting the open man.(I hope Uncle Jeff and Thabo can hit them)

Cpt. C-Note :
Rumors says this about Nenad…
“Krstic’s knee is fine for the first game against the Lakers.”
That’s good news.

I agree that it's good news. I wanted a lot of Serge against Camby in the Portland game, and against Thabeet in Memphis, but I think we really need Nads for a series with the Lake show. His PNP is one more bullet in the arsenal and he's a decent position defender. It will also let us get back to our regular rotations.

For the record, season tickets for those seats would be ~$420 + reserved flat pricing for playoffs (15 first round, 20 second round, etc.)

Big league city :)

So are we going to organize a DT watch party for the first two games in LA?

Some of the prices on StubHub for game 3 are crazy. I saw 3 together in 301 row D for $999 each!!!

I like it! Pretty cool, man.
It's been a long and strange trip, but it feels SO GOOD to be part of this city and team.
I think back to opening night with The Hornets when my brother and I were thinking of something to do that night. "Why not go see that NBA team we have on loan, we said?" and now, Me, a die-hard OU football fan, has been to over 60+ freakin' NBA games!!(never, ever thought I'd say that!)
I've been transformed in a die-hard Thunder fan. I really do have love for this team, and now this game. I went from saying that the NBA is boring cause they loaf it all season and mail it in until the playoffs, to WOW Now THIS is entertainment.
I still can't believe that we have our own team now. It feels good that we got to vote for the update the stadium and vote for all the improvements to the city. Having kids, I can't wait to be a Grandpa and tell my Grand-kids that we were here and helped make it possible. We were here for the fist game. We were here though 23 wins. We were here for the 50 wins! And ...we were here for the playoff run.
Win or lose this series with LA, we will put the whole world on notice. The Thunder and OKC are a force to be reckoned with...and we aren't going anywhere!!
GO ONE GAME AT A TIME, GO GROWTH AS A CITY AND TEAM, AND MOST OF ALL...
GO THUNDER!!

I love this! Sounds like the music came from a company from the Pacific Northwest... seems kindof ironic... which makes it that much more awesome!

I agree that it's not "funny" but your wife is right. It is very good. I think in 35 seconds you managed to cover most of what has happened in this city with our NBA teams (how many cities can say they've had more than one NBA team? a few). Great video Royce!
