Crazy how we went from being panicked about losing homecourt advantage to thinking about passing Dallas. Is anybody still worried about Denver?
Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post joins the show to talk about a possible Nuggets/Thunder first round matchup and to recap last week’s games.

Curious how the turn out would have been with dwight
I guess the one good thing about Chicago winning is that it gives San Antonio a reason to keep playing. As in, they might actually try against the Lakers.
Celts own Miami
Heat or Celtics? celtics own this series...
Jeff Van Gundy has never heard of Andrew Bogut.
Close call
Oh shit! Nelson did it again
That was too late. That sucks.
Talk about slowing down the game.
Go Boston!
Anderson is having a game man!
Damn Rose
Boozer with the best westbrook impression
Carlos Boozer just made a Thabo quality pass to Jason Richardson.
Boozer single handily losing this game. hahha
Rose just needs to take the game over
Magics hanging w/ out Dwight!
@Daniel Plainview
I would say it is highly improbable. He has to much fun blowing past our often porous perimeter defense to fall in love with the jumper.
@Joel
Well then, I guess I'll take my outrageous histrionics and go home :P
I

If Ty Lawson shoots like this against us we might be in trouble.
What are the chances really
Haha Anderson is the name that was suppose to he inserted there
Heard some guys saying it would be a good pick
Up to get in previous forums... Is that even a possibility? Just like the way he shoots the 3... How is his overall play... Only have really watched him against us and didn't pay much attention to his D
Would like to see the magic pull it off today
@justin
He probably want.But if he does doesn't mean we are in trouble.
It is pretty funny how much we can tend to complain on this board and then you look at teams like the t-wolves...
@Mark!
Yes, hush yo mouf. lol
@TaoMaas
I'm confused what you mean by perspective. I see a glaring problem with the way our lineups are currently constructed, and I see a solution already present on the team. Am I not supposed to talk about it because 90% of the NBA would like to have the same problem?
I'm glad the Thunder are winning, but I'd like to see them win in the playoffs. If we're able to go deep in the playoffs with the way Brooks manages our lineups and our offense, then I'll be shocked and pleased and will stop complaining. I just don't see that as a likely outcome vis a vis what I thought was a relatively reasonable comment.
Mark! : Anything can happen if Brooks insists on giving Thabo significant minutes.
(Sorry, Mark, but I'm going to pick on you a bit.) You're right...ANYTHING could happen if Thabo gets significant minutes! The Thunder might go from the laughing stock of the NBA to the team nobody wants to play! We might even become the model for how to build an NBA team! This year, we might even win it ALL!!!! Oh...the horrors! (sarcasm font off) Seriously...we need to get a little perspective on this board. My wife and I were talking this morning about how we used to PRAY that the Thunder would eventually win one of the close games they were involved in a couple of years ago. Wish granted. Now, it's all gravy. Are we satisfied? Hell, no! But we need to remember that 90% of the NBA would kill to have the small line-up problems that the Thunder have...and that be the worst of their worries.
Good podcast Joel.
Hope things are ok for Brad & neighbors.
Players from Congo and Africa usually look older then their age. I dunno if its because that's just how they look, or they are lying about it.
@dream catcher
He's still good.
justin :
Bismack Biyombo has 10 points 10 rebounds 9 blocks in the Nike Hoop Summit. We should draft this guy but it sounds like the hype train will put him out of our range.
he looks like he is in his late 20's. No way is that kid a teenager.
Good podcast 100% agree

Ne ne 0-8 on ft's
Oh I didn't know that
Looks like galli picked up where he left off towards the end of last night though... 1-6
Gallinari left the game tonight. Did he come back?
Good point actually Keith.. What could we do if we acquired that "minor" detail? Ha
It's funny it happened against the Wolves while Jonny Flynn is coming off their bench and Ricky Rubio is still in Spain. What a terrible organization.
@justin
There's a rather perfect example of the difference between a team with a set offensive system (regardless of stars) and one that doesn't. Against a bad defensive team, Denver's offense looks like an absolute juggernaut. OKC's offense seems to be entirely on their own players. Good defense, bad defense, doesn't matter. No matter how many open looks there are to be had, we play the exact same game and live an die by our own individual talent.
Wow that's crazy... You know ( and this is totally different than game time) I saw cook hit like 15 in a row in pre-game last night... I would like him to get to shoot more when the bench is in... At the same time I don't feel A's though he works all that hard to get open... What do you think Justin?
thunderstruck4life :
So safe to say he prob won’t shoot like that against us? Ha… What’s the record for consecutive you know ?
It was nine, he broke it.

This is amazing. Ty Lawson is 10-10 from 3pt range.
If Ty Lawson shoots like this against us we might be in trouble.
I would love to keep starting Thabo if A) we had a double-team demanding big man and the offense thusly had better half-court options or B) his defense was still one of the best on the perimeter in the NBA. Neither of those is true, however.
I'm tellin you... Watching thabo live was just hideous... I already said it but I was actually surprised when he hit his 3... Also anybody wanting a good laugh... Go to denver's forums on the espn board and read Jasonsmask comments and the forums he started... Somebody please tell me you know what is
wrong with him... I was laughing so hard yet confused
Brooks sticks with that 8-9 minute starter stint unless there's foul trouble or a blowout type scenario (i.e. when Portland eviscerated us to start the third quarter). I agree bringing Harden in at five minutes makes more sense. He's gotten < 30 minutes in the last four games.
@Mark!
Other than Thabo, I'm feeling pretty good!
@Mark!
As a side note, I wish we were playing LA in the second round. Thabo seems to get up to play against Kobe and Kobe's ball dominant but not as quick as he was, so it's a good matchup for Thabo. Denver and SA aren't... their guards aren't as ball dominant; seems fair to predict Thabo will get caught overhelping a lot on defense. In that case, Thabo won't be making up much on the defensive end either, exacerbating the problems he'll cause on offense.
