LeBron vs. KD in flag football is on tonight in Akron

by Royce Young on November 30, 2011 at 12:14 pm 7 Comments

Tonight, at 7 p.m, with “pre-game coverage” starting at 6:30 p.m. CT, LeBron and KD will be playing flag football and you can watch it here.

The game is in Akron and the rosters haven’t been released. The game will be complete with announcers, three camera, a “jib-cam,” whatever that is, and of course will feature Kevin Durant and LeBron James.

I loved this when it was first talked about, but with the season about to start.... uhhhh... not as much. I'm sure KD will be fine, but I think all of us would be fine with LeBron winning by 4 touchdowns as long as KD finishes the game all healthy. That being said, kill that sucker, KD!!

@TempBoy Brandon Anyone remember Robert Edwards? Pretty talented running back with the Patriots that blew out his knee in a flag football game sponsored by the NFL...Never played again...please don't play KD!!

@TempBoy Brandon maybe lebron will get hurt and the heat will be in trouble, or he pretends to get hurt so miami anmesties him and he signs with us and we play russ, harden, durant, lebron, perkins

Uh...KD? You know not to get hurt or anything, right? Right? Not liking this story even a little bit.

@Steve H

I doubt anyone in the Thunder front office are liking it either

@anonymous12345@Steve H It is just FLAG football. I doubt KD is going to be getting roughed up. Unless the teams are filled with other NBA players, he'll still probably have 10 inches and 30 lbs on anyone not named Lebron.
