Report: Thabo to miss another month because of sore foot

by Royce Young on February 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm 5 Comments

Prior to Friday’s game against the Warriors, Thabo Sefolosha sat at his locker with a hard cast on his right foot. It was recently reported Thabo would be getting a walking boot for the foot, but the hard cast is definitely a bad sign.

And according to Swiss writer Adrian Ruch, who is at the game writing a feature on the Swiss-born player, Thabo told him he’ll miss another month because of the foot. Thabo will wear the hard cast for a week, switch to a walking boot and then rehab for two weeks.

Thabo has missed a number of games for the Thunder this season, last playing on Jan. 27 against the Warriors. Daequan Cook, who has been starting for Thabo, will continue in that role.
