Enjoy reliving these. Because that was one special night at The Peake.

Last night's game reminded me of ESPN's "30 for 30" special on Reggie Miller where he was talked about riding home and telling his dad and sister how good of a game he had....only to find out that Cheryl had scored over 100 pts. LOL There's not too many times that an NBA athlete will have a triple-double or score 40 pts, only to be overshadowed by another accomplishment the same night.
Can't believe no ones mentioned it, but the best part about this was the Kid Clutch commercial (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YK0XLRyYA0) playing during the game. Way to live up to a reputation KD =)
The league's grading for our team is a joke and i hate to be a debbie downer ass dude but we are not that good.
How can you say its a joke? You could argue for a few of the teams in steins rankings to be ahead of us, but not many... i guess u could say chicago or the clippers, maybe philly, but who else below us can you even put in the conversation?
If anything, i think its the spurs that are pretenders.. but they did win during the last shortened season, so maybe grep pop knows some secret tricks to get them by
@Lost Ones No one is that good really if you think about it. Even though I agree with you that we aren't that good, when compared to the competition OKC is a top 4 team. It's like Troy Smith winning the Heisman.
Somebody pointed this out in another thread. After the 11th block, Westbrook quickly tells Ibaka to give the ball to Durant, presumably so that Durant can get to 50. I can't imagine Russ not taking the ball under different circumstances.
@yehoshuagardner That was me. :) I'm glad you brought it back up, because I doubt many people saw that in the thread from last night, as I posted it so late. But people, please go back and watch the video on that last block from Serge-- Russ very clearly wants KD to get to 50. Thought it was a really cool, selfless moment. And one that the national media won't ever mention, that's for sure.

@TempBoy Brandon here is how the national media works. Did it involve Jeremy Lin? yes->front page no->Did it involve the miami heat or chicago bulls? yes-> next to Jeremy Lin no-> don't care.
When westbrook plays like he played last night what he is capable of doing he's the best pg in the league imo.
I love the change in Durant's scoring game this year. He's getting into the paint way more than last season, he's playing a lot like he did in 2009-10. Career high % of attempts inside of 10 feet, and he's making much better use of screens to set himself up closer to the rim. Even though he's killing it from 16-23 feet his attempts from that range are way down, which is great. His turnovers are up a little but I'll take it considering how he's been scoring. It's a pity that Phil Jackson retiring probably means Kobe gets the scoring crown this year no matter what Durant does.
@[censored] Good breakdown. I'm still hoping that KD can win the scoring title, but like you said, I think Kobe will shoot himself to the title this year, regardless of whether or not that's a good thing for his team.
@TempBoy Brandon I'd like for KD to win the scoring title, but I don't think he will. I keep thinking that this is the year when KD takes a half-step back to let the rest of the team take a full step forward. No scoring title...but the Thunder's first Western Conference championship...and maybe NBA title.
My favorite block was the one on Ty Lawson where he got the ball with his elbow.
I feel like this is the sort of post that I'm going to come back and reread in a week....and the week after....and probably the next week too.
