LMAO @ Spurs segment. I scarrrrrred 2
Do we have any way of accessing the archives via search or a menu selection at the top? I was looking for this week's podcast yesterday (since it's usually on Sundays) not knowing that it hadn't been recorded yet. I clicked back a few pages on the main page looking for it, but this would be much easier if there was some direct way to access all the entries for a specific 'type' of post - e.g. pre-games, podcasts, Saturday morning cartoons, etc.
If some type of system is already in here can someone tell me how to access it? If not, I think this would be a great update for the site Royce!
@Penn_Cane They're all tagged right under the article itself. Clicking on this tag will take you to all other posts with this tag.
@ryuuou07
Thanks, that's a start! However, is that the only way? There still isn't any way to access any entries if there isn't one of the same type on the front-page. I don't suppose it's too much to hope for something along the lines of a straight archive, with cached entries, kind of like nested topics in a forum? =D
Nate McMillan for defensive coach?
I mean, should the Thunder sign McMillan on to the staff as the Defesnsive Coach, I'd love to have him. I always liked how he had his team play defense
How would i download this to my ipod so i could listen in the car?
@Lasers Add http://www.dailythunder.com/feed/ to your podcast feeds. itunes only recognizes the podcasts
@diddoff thnx dude
Wade's full court stare at Perk down the floor was hilarious.
Yeah . . . I have a feeling if Perk had turned around and made eye contact, things might have ended a little differently.
Kobe has 1385 points in 49 games played. Durant has 1366 in 49 games. He has to make up 20 points in 17 games to take the scoring title, which would be more than a point per game difference over Kobe. Can he do it? Jordan is the only one to 3-peat as scoring champion since the NBA-ABA merger.
@justin_mia with sessions on the lakers, kobe is shooting less 4 fewer fga per game than his season average, so it would not be impossible for durant to make up the 19 points, especially since he made up 32 points in the past two games. He could make up the difference in the head to head matchup on thursday if he has a good game against the blazers, whose defense is giving up 113/100 since their new coach.
@f5alcon @justin_mia Good point. I just wanted to post the opposite because the Lakers are fighting for position. Nevermind
If Durant wins the scoring title I think he wins MVP. If not then it will be very close but LeBron should take it still IMO. His season isn't quite as impressive as it was a month and a half ago but he's still scoring at the same clip as KD + being the playmaker he always is + destructive defensive player. Maybe if OKC wins again against Miami and Durant outplays LeBron that will carry some weight.
@justin_mia
KD certainly improved his chances at MVP last night... but people will forget pretty quickly.
@justin_mia
That's not really saying much though lol
@BRY BRY He is turning it over less in March that is for sure.
@justin_mia
His TO rate is pretty awful. But it seems like he is getting better in that regard. He's catching passes with more regularity and now he is making them as well.
I guess we'll see when we play a team that doesn't commit so hard to stopping dribble penetration.
The 'Perk Hate' will end when he becomes consistent on the boards, on defense, and doesn't turn it over at a historically bad rate. Or if he performs well in the playoffs. His regular season is pretty much a lost cause at this point IMO, but I hope he can have more games like last night.
@justin_mia
That seems right to me....
Think the Perk hate ended last night?
@BRY BRY I don't think it'll matter much if Miami wins the next one and LeBron outplays him. If we sweep them and KD plays well then that will probably matter.
@justin_mia
I get the sense he doesn't care about individual stuff as much this year. Last night, for example, he was on the verge of a double-double or triple-double and instead of making one or two more plays, he checked himself out of the game by committing that last foul.
That said...... I hope he gets it lol
