I'm sorry I brought it up. It's frustrating to have your city portrayed in a way that's not consistent with how you live your life, the circle you live in or the part of the community you are involved in. I should have let it slide.

I think the funniest thing about views of OKC is people like Charles Barkley really believe that there are no blacks here. I guess me, my family and the 80,000 other blacks in OKC don't exist.
@MisterJohnsonOKC That's the first thing people say to me when I tell them I'm from Oklahoma. "There's black people there? You own a cow?" Actually ignoramus, OKC's black population is over 16% which is higher than the national average.
Even people from Seattle, which is lower, throw that at us all the time
@DennisBerry OKC has more Black folks than a lot of NBA cities such as Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Denver, Utah, Minnesota, just to name a few.

@MisterJohnsonOKC @DennisBerry Could have showed that beautiful fountain park in the Asian Destrict, maybe the bad ass restaurants in the Latin section, some of the Jazz Bars in the NE but they show the effing stockyards.

@MisterJohnsonOKC I grew up around nothing but Blacks and Mexicans. My two best friends are Puerto Rican and Black. I grew up in south side OKC, Se OKC, and by McKinley Park.
