When I read the script the NBA had OKC winning game three, San Antonio winning game four, and OKC is schedule to win game five. This was all the information I was able to get. I'm assuming that the rating will dictate the winner for the remaining games.

This has nothing to do with the Thunder. My mother is a waitress at Chelinos, and one of her customers works for Cheseapeake. Her customer sent her, my little sister, and myself some Thunder shirts, and a "Thunder Your Butt Off" shirt. The reason i post this on here is because she said that the customer always mentions this blog so, who ever it is that sent that, I just want to say thank you, and that we really appreciate it!!
@ElMexiThunder thats pretty badass, not gonna lie. :)
@Legendary_dork Just appreciate the kindness. The world isn't kind anymore you know.
@ElMexiThunder @Legendary_dork im fully aware of that dude, i try to cut back on my baby punching and puppy kicking, its hard though :( . jk jk of course.
If you're from around here...you say, "If your from around here."
@Barry Amenema never been to oklahoma, but in texas it was always disarming to me when someone would use "ya'll" when they were speaking or referring to only one person.
@justin_mia
Sorry, can't resist . . . I think it's properly written as y'all (as in a contraction for you all). Not that anyone knows/cares . . . :)
@justin_mia @Barry Amenema ... and think of it like "yous" from the northeast.
Hey, yous guys!
@ElMexiThunder @Tronchaser @justin_mia @Barry since im italian i talk like a stereotypical mobster sometimes lol
@Tronchaser @justin_mia @Barry Amenema I say Ya'll, and You's.. I don't know why i just do.
@justin_mia @Barry Amenema "Ya'll" is a very versatile word. Friendly, not disarming.
i really hope that instead of just patting ourselves on the back and saying WE GOT THIS, that we watch last nights game and build upon that. The spurs love to screen and use pnr, i saw thabo anticipate that a lot and fight OVER the screen as opposed to under it like russ. Even if he couldnt get there SOMEONE would come out and make parker think twice. Russ chasing manu was a blast too, cause manu was willing to flop at like any given instant lol. Same when durant was on him, every little push forward and manus arms were waving like he was guiding in a B-52 bomber.
All of our roll players need to play like this for the remainder of the series.
@Legendary_dork
Don't worry, this is all good. I respect your opinion so this is meant with no disrespect. PASSING TEAMS DON'T WIN NBA TITLES. They just don't. You need at least one fantastic iso player or an overwhelming D. The Spurs have neither and will not win the title. After awhile, against really elite, long D's, they get intimate with your plays and their long arms get in the lanes. And then you are done. That's what's you are seeing here, I mean seriously, the Spurs offense devolved into Tim Duncan iso's. LOL, that's not going to work.
@aise0603 i dont know man. manu can be quiet a terror when hes not checked. hes crafty. and so can parker *even thouhg he loves screens* I wouldnt call their offense GIMMICKY, but it can be a bit predictable. drive and kick, drive and kick. they do that a lot
@aise0603 i wish i could agree with you *sees first 2 games* but sadly we lost those, shouldnt of lost the first one but meh. If we come out saturday and repeat what we just did then all the pressure is on pop to make HIS adjustments. i want for us to go to the finals so bad. I know we can take the heat or boston.
@Legendary_dork
Exactly. I think you can win at any level in the world exclusively with fantastic, pass first offense except the NBA. There are only a select few guys in the world whose athleticism and length combined with amazing iso scoring that can overcome that. The Thunder and Heat both have that in spades and I don't think the Spurs can win a series with either one of those teams.
@aise0603 well they have a system, and it works for most people. Teams like the clips and jazz just couldnt compete with their overbearing 3 ball. the clips i remember got up like 24 points on the spurs that one game, but their defense sucked so much they let them back in. they dont have length or a thabo like us lol. I saw some genuine panic in the spurs last night, getting trapped, having no one to pass to, our guys just seemed more up tempo and they werent ready for it.
@Legendary_dork
Gimmicky is a bit strong but I kept getting attacked because I was new so rather than be submissive, I went the other way.
@aise0603 @Legendary_dork Mavericks
@ElMexiThunder @aise0603 @ILikePancakes @Legendary_dork
That was an excellent team.
@aise0603 @ILikePancakes @Legendary_dork Pistons had Prince, who for a good number of years was the best Combo Foward in the NBA. Not the best SF, or PF, but best Combo Foward. I think some people forget about just how good Rasheed, Prince, and Billups use to be.
@ILikePancakes @Legendary_dork
Don't get me wrong, Passing is a really nice weapon to have but to win the championship, you are going to need either an elite iso scorer or the suffocating D.
@aise0603 @ILikePancakes i think its more of a combo that works than just great ball movement. case in point US last night. our extra passes here and there set up some wonderful plays. When we went iso last game we didnt do so hot. game one..meh...should of been a steal on our end but whatever *its in the past*
Dirk was unstoppable, but only if the refs let him be, if you played him physical and straight up he didnt like that.
@ILikePancakes @Legendary_dork
Mavericks had Dirk, an unstoppable iso player. Pistons had a suffocating D. You have to have one or the other to win. Passing hasn't worked since the Bulls discovered that length, speed and super athleticism counter it.
@aise0603 @Legendary_dork Pistons
@Legendary_dork
That's why I keep calling it a 'gimmicky' offense. They are tricking the other team with ball movement and fantastic PnR play but at the end of the day, their players are B athletes.
Where's that poser, Jax? All of the posers have scurried into hiding. I don't see anyone on here admitting that they were foolishly on the Spurs. I called this and I want some props. I was being called all kinds of names and now I have proven you fools wrong!
@aise0603 Man, you have really got to quit with this.... Nobody gives a ___ if you think this game proves something. You picked OKC to win game one, then picked them to win game two, then game three. Congrats, you were right once. I don't see how that makes you a hero and everyone else a poser.
Just for the record I picked the Thunder to split on the road and take the series in 6. While that's still partially possible, one win is hardly worth pulling out the "I told you so's"
@aise0603 I'm wrong......???
Okay, you win. "It's over, I was wrong and the posers were right! I admit it...:-("
@aise0603 You've proven nothing other than that you are a blathering bore.
@aise0603 No more questions for you, bro.
Troll.
The Commercial is awesome!!!
http://www.easymemes.com/images/9765 Thought i'de post this really funny.
@ElMexiThunder Hahahahaah....nice
Awesome!
am i the only one that just doesn't like dub step. im sorry but its not new, or fresh, it sounds like techno having sex with a robot.
@Legendary_dork You're not the only one. Worst...music...ever. Still a great commercial though, and this track isn't the completely terrible at least.
@Legendary_dork I'm pretty sure it IS techno having sex with a robot..... which is hot
You know if we don't draft a SF/PF type we could go after Ilyosofa from the Bucks, Earl Clark from Orlando, or Andres Nocioni from Philly, Andres, and Ilyosva are unrestricted free agents this summer, and Orlando have been trying to deal Clark all year. Also speaking of Orlando, Daniel Orton from what my cousins in Orlando say, may be available to trade. Apperently when Orlando was thinking about traiding Howard to the Warriors for Curry, and change he and Earl Clark were a part of the deal. Daniel is from OKC, he's 6'10 huge body, got at screening, and solid low post defense. He's pretty much a young Perk. He's even worse on offense though. He's also a Unrestricted FA this summer. Having Daniel, Earl, and Cole be our 2nd/3rd stringers adds ALOT of length, and athletic big men.
@ElMexiThunder No more bigs with no post game.
@BRY BRY True true. It's just the only bigs worth a danm with a post game are too expensive to get or aren't worth what we would have to give up.
@ElMexiThunder @BRY Yeah I know what you mean. It's going to have to come through the draft or trade. We can't afford to sign an offensive big on the open market.
@ElMexiThunder Is DeJuan Blair coming off a rookie contract? I wonder what his market value is.
@TaoMaas @ElMexiThunder He's not playing any minutes since the last month of the reg. season
@FF_pickups
That's the thing, Blair would keep the Thunder from being able to go small. KD can't stop Blair. He just can't.
If we don't see Blair come off the bench in game 4 I'll be shocked. It would tell me that he must have pissed off Pop somehow.
@Legendary_dork @FF_pickups @TaoMaas He did but very little. Who knows, just does seem strange that PoP won't play him against us, considering his track record against us.
@Legendary_dork @FF_pickups @TaoMaas That free's him up for the boards. Blair is more effective when their big 3 are on the floor. Duncan can be a little more free lance with his shot selection since he knows he has Blair hitting the boards. Blair's miles better of a rebounder then Diaw, and Splitter.
@ElMexiThunder @Legendary_dork @FF_pickups @TaoMaas idk, did blair even play in the jazz or clips series?
@Legendary_dork @FF_pickups @TaoMaas Or Maybe PoP has been saving him the first 3 games because he wants us to get use to their small ball line ups, or their interior passing. Then all of a sudden he inserts Blair in there, and it throws us off our game. We all know Scotty is terrible at In-Game adjustments, what makes us think PoP doesn't know that either.
@ElMexiThunder @FF_pickups @Legendary_dork @TaoMaas i think it has more to do with WHOM hes in the game with. cause if parker, manu, and duncan are in with him then hes def NOT the one you should be worrying about, thus why he doesnt get special attention
@FF_pickups @Legendary_dork @TaoMaas Well we've played against him with Ibaka and KD at the 4, his rookie season when he got that 20/20 game we tried Ibaka, KD, and Uncle Jeff on him and it didn't work. He really just straight up is a Thunder Killer.
@FF_pickups @TaoMaas @ElMexiThunder idk, maybe pop sees this and will exploit it as a counter. Blair DID score some last night but lets face it, he was up against our 3rd stringers so idk.
@TaoMaas I think its more of this year the Spurs are trying more of a European style offense. Also Blair(even though he's about Diaw's size) Blair is too short to be fully effective on the boards against other teams. Even though he's effective with us, i think PoP doesn't want to break thier rythem. It could be they just want to use him during the regular season, because of his lack in size during the playoffs. It could be they just don't want him anymore. Maybe he felt offended that they decided to bench him because of Diaw.
@Legendary_dork @TaoMaas @ElMexiThunder
Isn't it going to be hard to guard the Thunder with him at the 4 if the Thunder go small? Who does he guard when the Thunder go RW-Sef-JH-KD-Ibaka?
@TaoMaas @ElMexiThunder i honestly think he pissed off pop some how. cause the announcers last night were saying that pop didnt THINK he was needed in this series. even though that one game he went for 22 points, and like 12 rebounds. HOW THE HELL would he not be effective against us lol
@ElMexiThunder I like that he's a wide-body who has some offense. Are the Spurs just protecting him or do they think they no longer need him? (seriously asking here) Even if we can't hang onto Serge (knock on wood), we could always start Nick and bring Blair in off the bench, saving wear & tear on his knees.
@ILikePancakes @TaoMaas Might have gone low, its just Dejuan might turn into a BROY, or is just one bad knee injury away. I would love that monster on this team though. Who knows maybe the reason PoP really doesn't play him is because they're trying to save his knees from the grind of the PO's. He's a true Thunder killer.
@ElMexiThunder Ilyasova will want alot of money, Noce isn't good enough to get him into Philly's rotation
@ILikePancakes True, but Philly also miss uses Young, and Hawes alot. Then again, Brooks miss uses our guys too at times. *cough Fisher cough Jeff Green when he was here cough cough*
