A re-re-match between the United States and Argentina with the winner headed to the gold medal game. The first meeting was an 86-80 win for the U.S. in an exhibition with the second being in group play as KD lit up the Argentinians as Team USA ran away with a 29-point win.
It feels like this one will be more of a battle, and potentially more dangerous than the gold medal game against Spain. Manu Ginobili is always scary, especially if Argentina figures out a way to keep it close. The U.S. is always a 20-2 run in the waiting and Argentina just has to weather every storm. If the American run never comes, this could be close.
