The U.S. opens up the knockout rounds against Australia, a team that’s good enough to beat Group B winner Russia. They only have one NBA player in Patty Mills, but a few former solid college players like Aleks Maric and former NBAer David Anderson as well as solid international player Joe Ingles. Not a roster that should challenge Team USA in any way, but certainly one capable of hanging tough if the U.S. plays an uninspired game.

i still think okc shoulda won. im not going to blame the refs, miami played better than us. what sucks is their roster looks even better for next year
