Only a few more preseason games to get through before the real thing. Which means time is running thin for the players battling for that 15th roster spot.
It seems like some indication should be there with these last few games as to who it might be, but you never know.
It’s likely that both James Harden and Thabo Sefolosha will return for the Thunder tonight. Again, time’s running out so it’s time to start rounding into form.
Tip is at 7:00 p.m. CT. No TV but you can give this stream a shot.

steph curry sprained his right ankle again
#tradedthewrongplayer
@RodneyRosavelRusanWilson I hate how people talk trash about KD being skinny, but they turn a blind eye to Stephen Curry weighing 85 pounds.
@Bryson @RodneyRosavelRusanWilson Stephen Curry isn't a forward. he has no "need" to put on weight, although it could probably help him.
same applies for KD but he has greater benefits from adding a few extra pounds
I love how we all come together as one to bash the Lakers.
@supreme35 The focus should be on OKC learning to do the little things which will enable them to win a championship instead of watching LA or Miami do it again. After scrolling through ThunderChick's list of Western Conference predictions on here...it appears many analyze with their heart and pom poms. It's a good thing for you Clay Bennett homers...Dr. El Prez and his TSN computer will be lazor focused when the real season starts and then when the 'real-real season' begins this spring. I hate to sound like a zenmaster or something...but always remember...defense ultimately wins NBA championships..and the Lakers now have the best defensive player in the league. I think the key to the Lakers will be how Sissy Boy Gasol adjusts to having all these all-stars around him and yet making sure to get his shots every night.
@El Prez @supreme35 I think the key to the Lakers will be if their bench can collectively score more points than an actual wooden bench.
@El Prez @supreme35 No Jamison isn't hurt, I was referring to the Lakers bench being outscored like 55-18 or something. Of course, Jordan (The Predator) Hill didn't play for LA.
I will say, I'm afraid people's teasing of the Lakers preseason performance thus far (like mine) will bring down the wrath of the Basketball Gods and the Lakers will be almost unstoppable during the season. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.
I hope we can play good defense.
@Arent @supreme35 Did Jamison sustain a season ending injury? I'd worry more about Curtis Chalmers slapping KD around in front of Perk and our bench...and nothing being done about it.
Nuggets/Thunder highlights coming up on NBA TV.

How I feel right now.
An NBA season is a virtual marathon. It matters not what these Lakers do in October. If the Lakers were playing the St. Louis Cardinals in the NLCS in MLB...then level of play in October would be relevant. Once these guys learn how to play together they will be a very tough team to deal with. I'm glad Perk was able to make a performance tonight and didn't sustain another injury set. Didn't listen to or pay much attention to this win over the Nuggets. Watched the entire Game 6 of the NLCS between the Cards and Giants. Game 7 tomorrow night as the Cards need one win to reach the World Series for the fourth time in the last nine years. Game 7 and presidential debate on the same night....it's good multi-tasking is in my comfort zone wheelhouse. Sucks about JW Walsh being out for the season... I love the TSN in that kid.
@El Prez Go Tigers!! I rather see San Fran in the final
@El Prez
El Presidente from Edmond! :)
I don't understand your post. What does it mean? Yes...I'm El Prez....did you get liquored up at the Nuggets game? Was it you yelling you wanted to have Serge Ibaka's babies? K-Dagger...you will probably see the Giants if the Cardinals don't pull their heads out of their asses tomorrow night. Did you know Chris Carpenter played hockey? You played hockey in Michigan, right?
@El Prez
Like I posted earlier . . . even without any mention of TSN or anything sexually explicit, we were able to tell it was you. You've got a distinct voice/style.
Very much so. The posting guidelines are much more in line with how people other than eighty year-old Republican women from Nichols Hills write on the internet nowdays. You know...more of a contemporary genre. An edit button would be nice though. I will admit though...after these presidential debates..I do love popping up over there on the political stories doing the whole Cheney and his puppet W spiel.
@El Prez
So we get the real El Prez here??? :)
No--that's always been me on newsok. When I registered on that...for some reason it shows Edmond instead of Deer Creek..probably because of the Edmond zip code. That's not really the real me over there anymore. I got tired of having my stuff either deleted or removed. Their rules for posting are uber, uber, uber rigid... maybe that would explain why their customer demographic goes little beyond eighty year-old Republican women who live in Nichols Hills. Turn me loose as editor of that newspaper for a month and you'd see something where it appears the paper is trying to attract readers other than eighty year-old Republican women from Nichols Hills. Sigh. I gave it my best shot.
@El Prez
Are you denying that you're the prolific El Presidente from Edmond on the Oklahoman's website? Tron spotted a weather-laced finely crafted post from someone with a name eerily similar to the El Prez brand (trademark infringement?) . . . We all followed the link and decided it was you on your best behavior. :)
(Yes that was me. I was liquored up and yelling at Serge.)
@mcten: Don't be concerned by the Lakers' 0-6 record but be troubled by the bench being outscored 57-18 by freaking Sacramento. Ouch.
Harden looks at ^^^ and rubs his hands gleefully.

@MisterJohnsonOKC Once those five learn to play together they will be a tough out in the playoffs. But I still think our boys can run them out of the gym over 7 games.
@Stringer Bell @MisterJohnsonOKC Let's hope it takes a while... we need the #1 seed.
@Stringer Bell @MisterJohnsonOKC it is not easy for kobe to learn how to play together
@shiki @Stringer Bell @MisterJohnsonOKC They'll get better as the season goes on.
Their bench sucks though.
i hope the Lakers lose 20 straight, win one and then lose out.
@OBoy Jones III
Win one? Preseason optimism? smh
@ThunderChick2010 just for a false sense of hope
@OBoy Jones III I hope they beat Miami twice and lose all the rest of their games.
22 turnovers for Lakers tonight
Preseason doesn't mean anything, but it certainly doesn't look good when your entire starting five plays 30 minutes plus and you lose while playing against Sacramento's bench players.
@Arent their fans said they have the best starting 5 in the league but we all see the game
and we all know they have the worst bench
John Schuhmann: Seriously, 2 possessions where you need a 3 & you have Howard, Gasol (7 3s last year), Kobe (30% from 3 last year) & MWP (30%) on the floor.
NEVER CHANGE, LAKERS.
@ou_sas No need to have Meeks on the floor or anything.
that Princeton offense is AMAZING

@MisterJohnsonOKC Cue KennyGee getting all "It's only Preseason, Pssh, like it matters" in 3, 2,...
@ou_sas @MisterJohnsonOKC Hes too busy having a stroke
@ou_sas @MisterJohnsonOKC ....10 games into the season... Its only the 1st half of the season, playoffs is what matters.
The reason the Lakers don't live up to hype this year is because Kobe will try to retain alpha status and screw his team over. The only reason the Lakers won 3 in a row in the early 2000's is because he gave up alpha status to Shaq for the betterment of the team.
Lakers 0-6 in the Pre-Season
We won. The Lakers lost. Good day.
Lakershaha lose again!!!
@K-Dagger Plainview Think the Lake show is getting a little worried, haha... they played their starters heavy minutues..
Kobe Bryant misses 26- foot three point jumper >D
@ou_sas He owns the league record in that
@ou_sas so what your saying is.. *lakers looking to acquire Lebron james in future deal* lol

@MisterJohnsonOKC I know. The best part is how cliche'd it is though. So much for their new offense!
@MisterJohnsonOKC Considering I copy-pasted from the ESPN boxscore, yes. XD
