View from the enemy: The Two Man Game
After two straight losses, the Thunder are angry, and still very confident. And coming home. A dangerous, scary combination for the incoming Mavericks. The Thunder haven’t played well in their last two games. Part of that was opponent, part of that was self-inflicted. Russell Westbrook has been erratic, the defense spotty and the Thunder haven’t gotten stellar production from complementary pieces likes Kevin Martin or Serge Ibaka.
So with a wounded, disjointed Mavs team coming to town, it’s a pretty idea opportunity to start feeling better about yourselves. The Mavs do have Dirk back, albeit on a limited basis, but with O.J. Mayo scoring splendidly and some talented veterans, they’re still a team to pay attention to.
Dallas coming in: They last played Sunday, completely getting smoked by the Spurs.

Three Big Things
1. Do what you do. The Thunder need to move the ball, space the floor, finish at the rim, involve other pieces, get to the line and score efficiently. In other words, some of the things they haven’t done all that well the past two games. The Mavs aren’t a very good defensive team and while Shawn Marion always does decent on KD, they shouldn’t have an answer for Westbrook. He’s due for a big game.
2. Dirk. Like I said, his minutes are being watched and it’s likely he’ll come off the bench, but he’s still Dirk and he’s still nearly impossible to defend. You know at some point in the new few weeks Dirk’s going to have that game where he shows he’s on his way back. Hopefully it’s not tonight against the Thunder.
3. Point guard. The Mavs are pretty much lost at this position currently. Derek Fisher quit, Darren Collison hasn’t worked out and Dominique Jones isn’t built to play the position. So again, it could be Westbrook’s time to shine and remind everyone how good he is. Also, the other Thunder point guard: Who will it be, Eric Maynor or Reggie Jackson? Has there actually been a rotation change or is the spot open for business?
Tip at 7:00 CT. Go Win Again.

its 8:09 and Reggie Jackson still sucks while jeremy lamb looks on with a hot hand.
So this is where everyone went

@MisterJohnsonOKC site is trying to give my computer a virus., I'm sure it's that old ass pic with his headband at the middle of his head tho
Unnerving, baffling, wild....what a game. i wish russ wouldnt let his scoring/shots fallilng affect him...it seems his mood really dictates the mood of the rest of the team, and, while he pulled it together at the end, i wish he would judge his performance by how he does on defense, not offense. If he gets mad everytime someone blows by him, if he harnesses that tremendous energy and will on D and rebounding THROUGHOUT THE GAME, this team can take another step.
Celtics really screwed up letting both Tony Allen and Perk go.
@Skyline Perk? Oh yeah that was a major mistake on their part
@CDSpark Perk was a good fit for them because of Garnett always yelling at him and keeping him in check, where to go and what to do.
@Skyline @CDSpark and Perk still had knees then....
@Skyline Perk! they want perk back?

@MisterJohnsonOKC because Pierce came down with the ball. In pickup ball, it would just be a turnover where I hoop though
@Perk90X @MisterJohnsonOKC But the ball went to the floor!
@CDSpark @MisterJohnsonOKC after Pierce feet hit the floor
Offensive foul
Nobody was around him. There is no foul
Another one of those Griffen pulls the defender with his off hand
See that's why big body sully work no bs in our paint
Sullinger came inches from getting Perk'd
@Perk90X Sullinger just said, "Hell no" Not the same as an Ibaka "hell no" when he just blocks Griffin's dunk, but I love the mentality of not wanting to get dunked on
all these whistles are annoying
CWebb just said that Jordan needs to watch Ibaka more

well you have to copy and paste. Livefyre is breaking up the URL because of the $
Still not working.
the worst thing about Reggie Miller commentating is that i know he'll never get a coaching job.
Its a shame that he can't become a shooting coach. In baseball, figureheads are usually given jobs like "hitting coach" if they are important to the franchise.
@OBoy Jones III I'm going to buy him a Braves jersey in exchange for his sister's hand in marriage
Cheryl will ask for your hand in marriage, not the other way around. She decrees it.
Russell Westbrook on old mate Darren Collison maybe having the best game of his career: "He probably did. We won though. Have a good day."
russ the goat heel
I love it when reporters try to troll Russ, and he throws the trolling right back at them in a gasoline lit fire ball.
@AlexR44 Is it trolling to point out the obvious? How many more games of sub 40% shooting and porous defense does it take before we can question Russ?
@Lost Ones Lol "Have a good day."
@Lost Ones love russ
@cemitten @Lost Ones I need a youtube mix of Westbrooks crazy celebrations.
@OBoy Jones III @Lost Ones I need a youtube clip of russ destroying silly reporters
fun to look at

Seriously though, every NBA team has a Perkins...... some have more than one.
@Skyline yea but most have a coach smart enough to not play him 30 minutes a game, and especially when he outclasses physically and/or injured
So @Lost Ones you got a win on your birthday. Was this the highlight? :)
@ThunderChick2010 besides the custommade watch and cake yes best thing tonight.

@MisterJohnsonOKC @ThunderChick2010 LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
wow I missed that Wade got suspended.
@OBoy Jones III I miss it to. It's so glorious.
@alvarex @OBoy Jones III LoL..... Their next game is vs the Pistons. nice time to get suspended.
If you looks closely, Perk is wearing KD's.... that's probably the only reason he's still on the team. Sponsorship.

Haha, Shaq's going to throw out his back.
I wish the Thunder still played Defense like the Clippers did during that highlight. We did during that 12 game win streak, but the past 3 games we've been lax.
"Hi, I'm the Thunder and I only like play basketball when it's not against the Heat"
