Pretty much have shelved the EPQTFF temporarily as the wife has Bing Crosby's Holiday Inn on the big screen and informed me White Christmas will follow. She made some snarky comment about it not being appropriate to watch Quinton Tarantino on Christmas Eve. What the f--k ever. I have ho hand, and haven't had any hand since Silver Linings Playbook. Went and saw Lincoln late last night and it was superb. Five stars out of five....should win multiple Oscars. One of my friends and his daughter are going with me to see Django Unchained on Wednesday. My wife and her friend are going to see the Billy Crystal/Bette Midler flick. We've officially divorced as far as movies go. Hope everyone has a wonderful X-Mas with loved ones. I'm pulling my Thunder banner in from outside so it doesn't get destroyed in the blizzard tomorrow. Hope Perk shows up to play. He should be well rested in that he expended little or no energy in the Minnesota game. So basically he's playing on five days rest.

@ThunderChick2010 Hey since you and El Prez are always talking about movies I thought of one you might like to check out. It's called Cashback. It's on Netflix streaming (I'm always looking for diamonds in the rough on netflix streaming). Anyway, the advertising makes it look likes its going to be a sex comedy like American Pie or something but it isn't that at all. It's actually a good movie, a dramatic comedy. It does have a lot of nudity so if you're offended by that or watching with kids its probably not the best but anyway, just thought you might be interested.

I always get stressed at X-Mas and become a movieholic to escape reality...my father in law is a retired One Star United States Air Force General. Actually flied Looking Glass during the Cold War. We haven't talked since election night. This could be tense. He called me on election night and was going to give me his 'Obama lecture on defense readiness'....I'd been drinking and cut The General short by saying something like..."Yeah...imagine that.. educated women, blacks, Hispanics, middle class people, gays and young people who actually believe in match and science didn't vote for your boy Romney."
He drinks Manhattans and always has me drinking them with him. Bourbon, sweet vermouth and a touch of bitters. We'll both be shit-faced before tipoff. I really, really need to keep my thoughts to myself tomorrow. He was touting Petraeous for Prez on election night and I've restrained myself to this point. After two Manhattans... I pretty much shed all inhibitions. This has impending disaster written all over it.

I always thought Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis won't make Miami better. Miami is better on defense and offense when Lewis is on the bench, same goes for Ray Allen, despite the crazy shooting percentages. Only other Heat player beside Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis who's got negative +/- stat is Dexter Pittman.

Good morning all. Just checked ESPN schedule for tomorrow. Shows all the game being on TV. It also shows available seats on StubHub. Kinda of weird spread. New York @Lakers shows only 485 tickets starting at $29 However the Thunder @ Heat game shows 1390 tickets starting at $100. Just a bit of interesting information.

I don't get that fuss about Westbrook improvement. He is arguably better on defense and he has career low TOV%, but he was better last year than he is now. He averaged 24.5 PPG on 48% shooting until April last season. He had bad April(20.4 PPG on 38% shooting), but still ended with respectable FG%.
Only thing which is different is role he is put in, that's why he is averaging more assists, but that's nothing what we haven't seen from him, since he averaged over 8 assists for two seasons.
@Sigmund I agree. As is customary with Westbrook (seemingly), he makes strides in one area, but regresses in another.
@Sigmund His shooting does need to improve. I can't envision us going far if Russ is shooting in the low 40s in the playoffs.
@Sigmund he has improved on what matters as a point guard defense, turnovers and play making skills. scoring even though his %s are down is taking less shots per game.
Is this thing jacked up again? Usually over a night I'll wake up and there's about 50 to 100 more comments and this time there's like 3. Now, either you all went to bed early to get an early start on Christmas shopping, or this thing is jacked up.

@ThunderChick2010 I don't think so. Reggie's at least got some athleticism unlike Maynor. Now the Westbrook comparison I could see a little bit.
