View from the enemy: The Brooklyn Game
Tonight, Thunder coaching legend P.J. Carlesimo returns to Oklahoma City in what’s assured to be an emotional night at The Peake. What’s that? Oh yeah. The Thunder went 1-12 under Carlesimo, and 20-62 with the Sonics in 2007-08.
It is kind of funny though: Scott Brooks was an interim coach because Carlesimo got fired in OKC. And now Carlesimo is in Brooks’ old spot as an interim.
The Nets are 2-1 under Coach Peej though and seem, I think, to be playing a bit better. Then again, those two wins were against the Bobcats and Cavaliers, so maybe there isn’t much to read into there.
Brooklyn coming in: The Nets just got spanked by the Spurs on Monday.

Three Big Things
1. D-Will. He came out lighting the Thunder up in the first meeting. He’s been stuck in a shooting slump, has been pouting about being tired, griping about the offense and just plain sucking it up. At some point, he’s going to put together a big game. And going against Russell Westbrook, Williams, who is one of those ultra competitive guys, will probably bring his best tonight.
2. Brook. The Nets didn’t have maybe their actual best player in the first meeting, Brook Lopez. He’s a consistent inside scorer and gives the Nets an interior dimension. Against OKC the first time, the Nets fell completely in love with 3-pointers. Assuming Lopez is involved and effective, that should change this time around.
3. Matchups. Gerald Wallace is back, so he’ll be available to defend KD. But the Nets caught the Thunder a bit in the first matchup with a couple smallball groups playing Wallace at power forward. The Thunder adjusted in the fourth quarter, but again, that was without Lopez. How will Carlesimo approach his rotation tonight and will Scott Brooks try and just react to it, or attempt to dictate some?
Tip at 7:00 CT. Go Scott Brooks.

@OohWeeItsVelvetHoop Time to move to the other side of the room. LOL.
"We can go out there and get Delonte West and/or Kenyon Martin for minimum wage. Give Maynor and OKCBaby away for a 2nd rd pick to open up a roster spot. Then still do a Gortat or Varajeo trade. Now we're one of the toughest, nobitchassedness teams in the league surrounded by our superstars" @Westbrook gon' Westbrook I just wanted to draw more attention to this, because its exactly what we need to do.
@Bryson @Westbrook gon' Westbrook But our chemistry......and Oklahomans don't like neck tatoos and gun carrying Can Am Spyda drivers.
@AlexR44 @Bryson @Westbrook Oklahomans don't like guns. BAA Haa
@AlexR44 @Westbrook @Bryson @Westbrook And? F.uck them and their old 1800's ass beliefs. This is for the fans
@Westbrook gon' Westbrook @Bryson @Westbrook But there not very high on neck tatoos.
Bring them on, please. I'd take a flyer on Delonte in a heartbeat.
@AlexR44 Even if you don't follow it up with a trade for AV or Gortat, look at the lineup versatility and bench you create. West can play and defend 1s and 2s Kenyon Martin can defend 4s, 5s, and some 3s (including Rudy Gay). Now you have a bench of Reggie, Delonte, Kevin, Kenyon, Nick with spot minutes to Hash if called for, and gets Thabo out of the bench units. Other team got a physically imposing 3 Kevin Martin can't guard? Ok, go with just 1 of West or Jackon and move everyone back down a position and insert Hash at the 5.
Nah, we ned her to keep us honest
@Bryson @Westbrook gon' Westbrook YES.
@Bryson @Westbrook gon' Westbrook Hell, I'd give Okcbaby away for FREE!
Uploading a video from tonight. Hopefully it will be done soon.
Do we still have our BJ Mullens trade exception?

@MisterJohnsonOKC @tydude I would like this, but I kinda llke Blake.
@MisterJohnsonOKC @tydude Sad, but truth. Has he been nailed with the flopping fine yet?
@tydude Bad?
@AlexR44 @tydude Ezeli (I think) grabbed him on his way up. Spun around in the air, fell on his shoulder and the side of his head.
game over.
Wow, those missed field goals by the Cardinals earlier in this half are looming very large right now.

@MisterJohnsonOKC Yeah the stop on the 2 point conversion attempt may have sealed the deal.
@MisterJohnsonOKC And now, that did it.
i wish FS Oklahoma has a studio in Oklahoma instead of being located in the Dallas area

@MisterJohnsonOKC @tydude Oklahoma wish it had the caliber of women Dallas does
@Westbrook gon' Westbrook @MisterJohnsonOKC @tydude We do just not in the same volume.
I'd hit it.
@JUNKYARDDOG who?
Royce's job will be easy tonight for the game wrapup:
That sucked, oh yeah, and KD got ejected.
@Crownme I don't know if you could hear it, but KD yelled out BULLSHIT so loud that I heard it on the other end of the court. (T'd for that), and then he said something "Aw Efff that Shit!* 2nd T - gone! lol
@Tronchaser I normally sit about behind where you were in row B, but I couldn't get away from work for the game tonight.
I don't seem to recall all of that
@Westbrook gon' Westbrook @Crownme LOL,I love your seat by the way. It has ahem, other qualities to it. :)
@Crownme @Tronchaser Big money on DT making it rain in the sideline floor seats.Totally shiittin on me and my 102QQ seats
I found a pic of Tron and Crown from tonight's game http://gifsoup.com/webroot/animatedgifs1/1549682_o.gif
@Tronchaser @Crownme
If only KD read DailyThunder, he would know . . . if you can't say it on DT, you probably shouldn't yell it at a ref.

@Crownme @MisterJohnsonOKC To me, and I may be completely wrong here, but it seemed to me that she was trying to be "tough" on the guys, like "I can play too!" kinda thing. I could be wrong though.
@Tronchaser @MisterJohnsonOKC She is hoopeless. I can't tell if she is biased or incompetant.
@MisterJohnsonOKC @Crownme No kidding, I was YELLING at Violet Palmer the whole night. lolololol Was funny.
Tron, my reply button has a virus. were you by chance sitting close to those blondes?
@El Prez I was sitting right behind where KD's boys sit. Yes, there were two blondes to their left. I was sitting behind them.
@Tronchaser @El Prez is all those boys are KD family or just friends i know one of them is his brother
@Crownme @Tronchaser @El Prez i was sitting 4 rows up from Perk family
@tydude @El Prez One is his bro, the others are friends.. apparently the Nets knew them too, as they came over after the game to say what's up and such.
@tydude @Tronchaser @El Prez think two may be his brothers
@Tronchaser @El Prez Is that your normal seat?
@Crownme @El Prez Nah, she's good luck. Trust me on that. :)
@Tronchaser @El Prez Don't bring Vegas gal though, she's abd luck apparently.
@Crownme @El Prez holy crapola, I wish! No, I had a friend in town from Vegas, and I thought I'd treat her (and me too!) to a floor seat. Never been down there before. I'll have to do it again next year. :)
Curry 25 points on 11 shots at half.
