?
Laker tears are the sweetest of them all.
@C-Wil http://youtu.be/owzhYNcd4OM
ohhhhh right right right, we have a 2:30 game today, central time, and that one super important game
super....something :P
@Legendary_Dork hey, at least it's not at 12 (im looking at you toronto, you and your early sunday games)
@Legendary_Dork next week
@Lasers i know i was being sarcastic, no one cares about the pro bowl today ;)
I can't wait to send the Lakers season back into the dumps.
Or should I say the Lakers 7th season into the dumps.
@ EatSleepThunder yeah tonight perk will definitely earn that paycheck, if he cant guard an injured howard, i think presti will take note.
also sidenote: i think kd should start wearing his backpack again, and inside are little flags that say THIS IS MY TOWN, after he completely destroys a team, he walks outside and plants a flag, thus becoming kd's town~
maaaaaaaaaaan its game day, bout damn time. Last game in this horrendous Road trip too. you know our boys will be itching to end this early and come on home :)
@Legendary_Dork I am scared Lakers are going to play like an elimination game.
@ThunderWins im scared cause their season JUST restarted and they are ON FIRE! *huge sarcasm* ;P
@lethalizer @ThunderWins true, but i think picking them apart with assist and having everyone score on them would demoralize them even further.
@lethalizer @Legendary_Dork @ThunderWins Maynor could drive on the Lakers' perimeter defenders at this point.
@Legendary_Dork @ThunderWins I'd hate it if Westbrook went in to assist mode against the Lakers.
BAD RUSS is the perfect Russ against the Lakers. Nobody on that team can stop his penetration. At least with KD, they have some sort of hope. Russ? No chance. He always has huge scoring outbursts against LA, I expect another one tonight.
@ThunderWins i just hope we get good russ or at least balanced russ tonight. id take another 14 assist :) . and i want kd to say his infamous words
THIS IS MY MOTHAF#$^iNG TOWN! lol
@Legendary_Dork *think
@Legendary_Dork Point Kobe Bryant vs Point Westbrook.
Who would ever that would be the match up.
@ThunderWins @Legendary_Dork I'm fine with this given their recent history in elimination games.
@Jooseppi @ThunderWins @Legendary_Dork prior to last season's matchup with the Thunder, Lakers' last 2 elimination games losses were by 30+ points, so there.
@Jooseppi @Legendary_Dork God that would be embarrassing for them.
@Jooseppi @Legendary_Dork Thunder give me Mavs Lakers game 4 from 2 years ago please
@Legendary_Dork *concerned
Why not trade for somebody who has already proved themselves in the league?
@thebossman4 Break the cycle - they like rookie contracts.
@ThunderWins This is a very weak draft
@Fezzy I would loveto see Noel in a Thunder jersey, but I just like Cousins better. Alex Len is lanky but I don't believe he will be dominant in the NBA
@thebossman4 Not well initally of course. He'll have to rely on his footwork and hands. But he has a tremendous frame. I don't know why, but I'm very wary of Len.
@Fezzy I like Noel also but you can't predict how centers are going to turn out. How do you think he will do with the pressure and physicality involved in guarding Dwight and the other true post players in the league. What about Alex Len, he also has a lot of potential?
@thebossman4 See above conversation. Too lazy to retype
@Fezzy I'm just saying, we don't know how Noel will do in the NBA. What would we even trade to get up to that pick. Maynor and all of our picks?
@thebossman4 @Kreese29 Noel also has sky high potential. And is not nutso
@Kreese29 @thebossman4 Why not try it? You don't know if he will either. Of course the Thunder are taking chance, but at least you know he has sky high potential. All he needs is a little help
@thebossman4 to big of a risk. What if we did sign him and he still acted like a fool then what do we do
@ThunderWins @Fezzy On another note, if Perk can't guard Howard tonight, Presti definitely look into a new center.
@ThunderWins @Fezzy Oklahoma City could very well be the situation he needs to succeed. Playing with KD and Russ could help him a lot and maybe straighten him out. They are all aiming for one goal, a championship
@ThunderWins @thebossman4 I can see it
@thebossman4 @Fezzy @ThunderWins I like cousins but I wouldn't want him on our team.
@Fezzy @thebossman4 If some signs him for max they need their own head examined.
@thebossman4 @ThunderWins Except Cousins in one year away from Harden's situation
@thebossman4 @Fezzy Cousins is broken.
@Fezzy @ThunderWins Exactly. I'm not saying go after Rudy Gay, Pau Gasol or Josh Smith (We couldn't affor these guys anyway), but maybe just look into people like Demarcus Cousins.
@thebossman4 @ThunderWins For teams building yes. For teams looking for a final big piece to the puzzle, it doesn't matter as much.
@thebossman4 Yes it is very few *stars*
@thebossman4 Had Harden not broke out early they would have signed him cheap.
@thebossman4 Cause they cost money.
@Fezzy @thebossman4 Haha yep!
What do you guys think about trading up in the draft to get nerlens nole?
@Kreese29 I'd support this a hundred percent as long as it doesn't involve Lamb or Perry. I'd be willing to donate Martin to the cause. Noel would be amazing to have as an anchor.
@Fezzy Yeah I agree we gotta keep lamb and pj3
@Fezzy @Kreese29 Would Noel be viable as Center or only PF?
@Fezzy @Kreese29 Noel Ibaka KD Sef Russ
@ThunderWins @Kreese29 Center. He has a tremendous frame to bulk up.
@Kreese29 Trading up is hard as FF said.
@Kreese29 VERY HARD
@ThunderWins @Fezzy @Kreese29 He's an excellent defender on a good contract with significant playoff experience. That's not nothing if you're starting from zero.
@ThunderWins @Old Man Game @Kreese29 If it's a team that thinks they're on the verge of busting out of the lottery.
@Fezzy @Old Man Game @Kreese29 why would a lotto team want Thabo?
@ThunderWins @Old Man Game @Kreese29 It does. However, we really don't have any room for many draft picks for a year or two. Maynor and Martin will both shortly be gone. The biggest problem I have with it is losing Thabo.
@Fezzy @Old Man Game @Kreese29 Yeah and that sucks too.
@ThunderWins @Old Man Game @Kreese29 We'd have to overpay. If we gave Martin, Maynor, Thabo, and all other draft picks for the next two years, we might be able to convince someone.
@ThunderWins @Kreese29 Who has drafted bigs in the last few years? Maybe Sacto/Seattle?
@Old Man Game @Kreese29 Key question which lottery teams would have no interest in Noel?
@ThunderWins @Kreese29 For the right guy you might even throw in a vet like Thabo and the Raps pick. Maybe that would garner more interest.
@ThunderWins @Old Man Game @Kreese29 And Cho from Charlotte would agree to that I would imagine.
@ThunderWins @Kreese29 There you go, something like that.
@ThunderWins @Old Man Game @Kreese29 Every pick at our disposal for the next two years would be worth it to grab Noel.
@Old Man Game @Kreese29 we offer high raptors and two other picks?
@ThunderWins @Kreese29 I just now saw his response. Number 9 was just a for instance. But I still think it could work. If a team is in tear down and rebuild mode then they might want to stock young talent to try and develop on the cheap.
@Kreese29 Not Noel necessarily but I'm very intrigued by trading up.
