The dunk contest is tonight — which yes, I’m excited about because I still love it — but remember in 2009 when the NBA had people vote in the final competitor for the dunk contest? Here’s who you had to choose from: Rudy Fernandez, Joe Alexander and Russell Westbrook. Two of those three aren’t even in the NBA anymore. Sheesh, people. And Fernandez was the pick. I hope you all feel shame right now.

Why is Danica Patrick getting so much airtime on ESPN? I want to watch college basketball highlights so I can ignore them.

@duhsweetness I like Turner better than most I don't think he's #2 overall quality but he's better than he's shown especially if he can keep making threes.
@[censored] I'm thinkin' you move Martin to the starting 5, bring Turner off the bench, and you've got a C rotation of Serge-Collison-Kwame-Sheem. Turner scores and is aggressive offensively and is a great rebounder and would be a fantastic bench piece.

@OBoy Jones III The reasons no one would agree with me are an unfortunate sociological phenomenon. Most here have been scarred from teh way hes been treated by the media for the last three years. I was one of them Ive defended him ad nauseum. However, he should not have this much uncertainty and lack of balance into his game 4 years into being a PG. Again, Im not trying to make my point here, but the lack of consensus on this point does not in the least affect my logic which most other commentaors outside of this forum - which I love dearly - seem to be hip to.
@Lambchop I've argued with you before during games when you have complaints on what Russ is doing on the basketball court. I think I told you to stop when you were going on for hours in a post game thread on why no one would agree with you.

Westbrook's D on LeBron in the fourth quarter was really impressive. I don't think it's sustainable for an entire game/series. LeBron got him for 2 backdoor dunks, otherwise, nothing on Westbrook.
@FF_pickups I think that and Kobe's defense tonight showed me how you have to defend Lebron. You have to get right up in his grill. Be physical with him. It's really hard to shoot a jump shot like that and then help on him at the rim.

@Lost Ones No, I am watching, he was trying to exploit him the entire quarter. They tried to post him 3 times but RW was fronting, they tried to PnR him about 5 times and it was causing confusion.
