Just what the doctor ordered after a disappointing loss in San Antonio. A return trip home to play a sliding Jazz team. Which I guess makes them a little dangerous, since they’re desperate. Their playoff hopes are sliding, but at the same time, they just aren’t playing very good basketball, especially on the road.
The last meeting between these teams featured a beatdown in the fourth quarter as the Jazz overwhelmed the Thunder in the paint. Their perimeter players were knocking down shots which provided space and room, while the inside guys crushed the boards and created second chances. OKC’s big men have to take a little more pride in stopping Utah’s frontline attack or things could be interesting.
Utah coming in: Won Monday against the Pistons.

Three Big Things
1. Frontline. That’s where the Jazz focus their attack and it’s going to have to be the Thunder’s primary defensive mission.
2. Hot start. Russell Westbrook has burned out of the gates the past few weeks but has slowed down since his ankle tweak. A good sign would be one of those signature Westbrook starts tonight to provide a good early spark.
3. Bench. Just play better, alright?
Tip at 7:00 CT. Go Something.

Miami's success annoys me.
@Stringer Bell Hoping they do a #Mavs #2006-2007
@Stringer Bell don't worry. Evil empire will fall.
Blake griffin 0 rebounds in the first half. We would murder ibaka for that.
Had my arm ripped out of socket so many times, fingers dislodged, twisted knee's and ankles so many times! #cantevenfathomaPROinjury
@Dicharden
prob doesn't hurt as much when you are on roids.
@SexyWatt @Dicharden Pain is the same recovery is different.
rondo's dislocated elbow was really nasty too.
Kobe's unhappy w/ Dahntay Jones, whose foot he landed on after fadeaway miss in final seconds. "Officials need to protect shooters," he says
:( Poor baby Kobe
greatest ESPN doubleheader
Didn't watch the game. How did it go guys?
@Blood-Game We won, but don't watch the game. Just watch the 4th quarter if you want.
@Blood-Game
we won
Where's Tricia to tell us how the Knicks are the favorite in the East like she was at the beginning of the season?
@Old Man Game If Tyson Chandler is seriously injured it could get very ugly for New York on this west coast swing road trip....and even easier for the Heat in the East.
@El Prez I think he'll be okay. That looked like a sprain. Knee bent sideways but sprang right back.
@Old Man Game
IDK why anyone would ever trust the Knicks. Melo is not a leader.
The thing about Nuggets is: They don't have good shooters, their spacing looks bad, but they still get nearly all of their points near the rim/at the painted area!
In the year 2013, this Nuggets team is the largest mystery to me.
@lethalizer
Well they don't lose at home.
@lethalizer When the Playoffs start the defences step up, games become grinds and Nuggets become first round exits.
@Stringer Bell @lethalizer Slow down games in the playoffs are not in their best interest!
@Stringer Bell I'm not talking about their playoff chances, I don't see them as contenders. Even if they are a first round out, the thing they do is still amazing.
@Stringer Bell @lethalizer I think the Nuggets get to the 2nd round if they can get the fourth seed.
@[censored] @lethalizer I don't think the Nuggets can beat the Grizz, even with HCA. But if they get the Clips; I could see that.
Not sure how I feel about the game yet.
All I kept thinking was how it's a good thing we were playing the Jazz tonight. It just felt sloppy and I need to re-watch the game on TV to see WTH all of the tech fouls were about. The game felt 5 hours long and even longer with this kid banging those damn Thunder sticks in our faces all night. (Thanks, OG&E!)
Maybe I'm in the minority here but KD was painful to watch. Whatever is going on with him, I hope it gets straightened out before the playoffs.
@NotSoAnnoyed He made every shot he took in the 3d quarter and went into beast mode. Maybe he's turning the corner
@RWolverine I hope so. Glad we got to see Brewer play a few minutes too.
@NotSoAnnoyed
we won. just try to enjoy that and save the worrying for another day.
Lamb slowly taking over after bad start.
Ouch.
@beelieve035 Who got hurt?
Hate when they replay injuries!
@Dicharden When they kept showing Rondo's arm bend backwards I couldn't handle it. Luckly I stopped myself from seeing the Baron Davis knee one.
I Never watch. #Wimp

@MJOKC i'm glad Livingston has become a useful player in the league, even if it's with Cleveland.
@SexyWatt @OBoy @MJOKC
Is this your church pew/knee injury? :)
@OBoy @MJOKC
i personally think my sports injury was the worst, but that because it happened to me :/
@MJOKC @Dicharden I still can't shake that Davis injury. That was pretty bad.
@MJOKC That dude was a badass. He got up and skated off the rink because "I didn't want my mom to see how bad it was"
Joe Theismann's leg
@MJOKC @[censored] @lethalizer @Dicharden https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dcXWZuTWDM
@MJOKC @lethalizer @Dicharden Lots of bad football ones. Baseball Robin Ventura got his cleat caught and had a compound fracture in his leg. Injuries suck.
@lethalizer @MJOKC @Dicharden Andrew Bogut's arm also.
@MJOKC @Dicharden Greg Oden's last one where his knee cap was four inches higher than it was supposed to be.
@[censored] @MJOKC @Dicharden Prothro's was maybe the worst thing I've ever seen.
@[censored] @MJOKC GOD!
Chandler just went down it looked bad.
@OKC035 Aw, man I like Chandler!
@OKC035 This is not happy; nothing is happy about this. This is sad... very sad...
@thelaughingwiseman Who said anything about happy.
@OKC035 I was just quoting Avatar lol
