Wow, 3 minutes left in the 3rd in the MEM-UTA game and MEM has only scored 5.

What an explosion by Louisville as they head to the overall No. 1 seed in the Big Dance. Why the Big 12 selected West Virginia over Louisville is a gaffe of major proportions. Louisville won a BCS bowl game over Florida and now headed to the overall No. 1 seed. The Big 12 would have been the center of the college basketball universe this week-end with the Kansas-Louisville game in the Big 12 Championship Game. West Virginia...why?

 @El Prez Football.

Louisville won this year's Sugar Bowl over Florida and the 2007 Orange Bowl. Thus...they have done two things OU and Bob Stoops haven't...1 won their last two BCS games, 2 handily beat an SEC team in a BCS game. Louisville isn't a dog in football. These Big 12 presidents at the least should have asked both West Virginia and Louisville.

It's about brand and how many television sets you bring to the equation. I don't know the demographic breakdown, but I would guess Louisville versus West Virginia per television sets is a wash unless West Virginia has the odd exceptional year and draws more from the Pittsburgh market. As far as brand...sometimes for the overall conference brand--you might consider taking a basketball thoroughbred just to add to the aura of the overall conference brand. Louisville has done something in football which OU hasn't done since 2003 and the University of Texas hasn't done since 2005...namely win back to back BCS bowl games.

@El Prez it's not about winning, it's about revenue. And West Virginia is a far more profitable program than Louisville. That's why the major conferences aren't beating the door down to add Boise state to their conference.

Okay basketball gods this is just unfair. Whatever curse you put on the Thunder to make everyone always have their best game against us, I will sacrifice 5 chickens to you, if you'll remove it and my dog to.

Wouldn't mind taking Deng from Louisville w/our pick @ the end of the 1st if he's still there & if we don't trade the pick (which I think is likely). Dude can really pass for a 5 & has some nice court awareness & coordination.

Jackson is such a chucker, a chucker who gets lucky against us, but he's still a big time chucker
