Kevin Durant on video games: “I never took it for granted that every copy of NBA 2K15 was going to have my face on it. 2k was a source for me to dream big as a kid; I felt like I was a part of the NBA by playing the game. And now, as a pro, it lets me enjoy being a kid again. I play the MyPark mode more than anything else now, but not as myself. I saw Kyrie Irving playing in there one time, and he had like a million people following him around. I was like, ‘Nah, I want to keep it low-key and play with my homeboys.’ I’ve told people who I was before, and a couple of guys didn’t believe me until I followed them on Instagram. Word does get around the park, though. It’s like our own little community.”

Darnell Mayberry on Justin Anderson: “As a chiseled 6-foot-6, 231-pound shooting guard, Anderson has ideal size and strength to be a menace on the defensive end. He combines those traits with jaw-dropping athleticism — he posted a 43-inch vertical jump at the NBA Draft Combine last month — and ample mental toughness and tenacity that makes him perfectly suited for being a prototypical stopper. Though he considers himself a natural shooting guard, Anderson thinks his size and athleticism will allow him to guard point guards, shooting guards, small forwards and power forwards.”

Are these Russell Westbrook’s new signature shoes?

Jeff Goodman of ESPN.com has OKC taking Frank Kaminsky in his latest mock: “GM Sam Presti can afford to go with the best player on the board, and the skilled 7-footer, the national player of the year, is just that. He can play the 4 or the 5, and would be an ideal piece for OKC.”

Kevin Durant will be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in November. Really hope Oklahoma isn’t setting itself up for a really hard fall.

Ray McCallum and Russell Westbrook are working out together.

Jay Bilas on Devin Booker: “Booker is a much better driver and athlete than he gets credit for. He was primarily a catch-and-shoot guy at Kentucky. He has size, strength, a solid build and the ability to make shots. Booker might be the best shooter in this draft (which is not a draft that boasts great shooters), and this one special skill will get him chosen in the lottery. He can do other things, too, making him even more valuable.”
