Per multiple reports, Derek Fisher has accepted the head coaching position for the New York Knicks.
According to Yahoo Sports, the deal is five years, $25 million.
“In the last maybe decade or so, I’ve really felt like my purpose in life, my calling so to speak, was to be in a leadership position or some position of impact on other people,” Fisher said recently. “Coaching allows for you to positively impact other people’s lives.”
If we’re to put this all together, this also means that Fisher is now officially retired. We think.
