Kevin Durant’s technical foul count now stands at 12.
As he hoped, he had his technical foul called against him in the Lakers game rescinded on Wednesday, according to a league spokesman.
The technical was called in the second quarter when Joey Crawford told Durant to return to his huddle during a timeout, but when Durant didn’t comply, he was whistled.
Durant said following the game, “All I asked him was, verbatim, is ‘Can I talk to you?’ and he got me with one. The way the game was going I’m sure he was just trying to control everything and make sure nothing outrageous happened I guess. Joey’s a good ref and I respect him a lot, but hopefully that gets rescinded.”
When a player receives his 16th technical foul, it’s an automatic one-game suspension.

i think the refs should be held accountable for techs, if it gets resinded then you get punished somehow . just like how @Landstander said. should be money fines , then suspensions without pay, then firing that way they dont just hand out techs like hot cakes

The problem I have with rescinded technicals is that the point they generate for the other team isn't rescinded. In the flow of the game, many things account for points. But if my team loses by 1 and it was because of some lame ass, emotional T on the ref's part, I would be highly upset.
it sems like most his technical are not technicals.. durant got one for slapping the pole and lots of people do that
I think that refs should be hit with every technical they give out that gets rescinded. After 3, they have to miss a game. After 15, they have to retire.
