Officially, LeBron James won his third MVP Saturday, making him one of eight players to do it. Kevin Durant finished second grabbing 24 first-place votes with Russell Westbrook finishing 12th with a fourth and fifth place vote.
This is the second time in three years that KD has finished second to LeBron for the MVP.

Congratulations to Russell on being recognized as a top 15 most valuable roster. Next year after being on the Olympic team and hopefully as an NBA champion, people will continue to see even more of what true OKC fans see in him every game.
As for KD I wouldn't want him to win his MVP when most people felt LeBron deserved. KD has the talent and potential to win it decidedly in the future and I'll cheer him on then.
Tony Parker should have finish above Kobe, hell Kevin Love should have been 3rd with the season he put up.
It should have been
Lebron
Durant
Love
Paker
Paul
Howard(his team full of scrubs still finished 6th in the East)
Kobe
Wade
Westbrook
Rondo
Rose
Nash
Dirk
Duncan
Granger
How in the world did rose get a 3rd place vote?
@EatSleepThunder Probably the same reason someone had Lebron 5th on one of their ballots. People are...interesting.
@EatSleepThunder Pity + Chicago Homer vote.
MVP without the Championship is icing without cake. OKC wants cake!
I guess they put Rose (5) above Wade (6) to make sure Westbrook (4) couldn't touch him.
