MVPs aren’t won in November, but Player of the Month awards are. And Kevin Durant is 1-for-1 in that department so far this season.
Durant was named the West’s Player of the Month, with LeBron taking the honor in the East.
KD led the Thunder to a 13-4 November record while averaging 26.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. Oh, and he shot 51.0 from the field, 43.3 from 3 and 89.3 from the free throw line. That’s 51-43-89. That’s pretty good.
Durant also registered the first triple-double of his career – 25 points, 13 rebounds and a career-high 10 assists – in a 119-109 win over Golden State on Nov. 18.
Kevin Durant should receive this award every month. Durant is always ready to play every night and his teammates gives a lot of energy on the court and off the bench to help his team win. Durant won scoring leader for three years straight and I think winning the Western Player of Month tell it all about his performance. It’s not a big deal for Durant achieve this award because he still want a NBA ring. Durant is doing that. Right now he averaging 28.5 points a game and their record is 24- 6. Durant kept playing like he is , he might be a player to watch out for in the west coast instead of Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan.

How dumb is Toronto? The fact that they are considering trading Bargnani and Calderon for a Pau Gasol who will make 19 million next year who has tendenitis in both knees is exactly why they will always suck.

I'll always respect Kobe for his passion for basketball. We analyze it with our brain and (me at least) can get overly caught up in the mental aspects, but the game is mostly about heart. And his will to win, his competitive drive, and his love of the game are unparalleled, certainly in this generation. I'll always respect that.
I feel like I can name a few players that love the game just as much as he does that dont disrespect people as much as he does.
