The Thunder won’t have to wait too long for a chance at a little redemption.
According to the Sun-Sentinel, the Thunder will play the Heat on Christmas in Miami. A day saved for the NBA’s most marquee games, this is now three straight seasons the Thunder have played on Christmas, though the first on the road. In 2010, they defeated the Denver Nuggets at home and in 2011 after not being included in the original 82-game schedule, Oklahoma City kicked off the season against the Orlando Magic, winning handily.
Meaning, the Thunder have had some good luck on Christmas going 2-0. But this is a road game and one that includes the bitter taste of a Finals defeat. A return to the scene in Miami where it all went horribly wrong in Game 5.

Ronnie Brewer to the knicks
This is really random but do any of you remember that show on espn about 5-10 years ago where two think) travel across the nation via bus? It was somewhat like the amazing race where they did various tasks in different cities. For example, I remember there was a challenge in dallas where a team member had to make a three pointer on the mavs court in order to get the next clue. I can't remember the name of this show and it's bugging me haha.

It has always just seemed to me that Kobe doesnt look at or engage otehr players with fondness or routine, save Russ. ALot of the team USA picks Ive been seeing have them sitting together alot, smiling at shoot arounds and what not. Seems unique for Kobe to find such pleasure in other players

@dancassidy35/FreeMonroefromDET! @K-Dagger Plainview There's a little of a devil-may-care attitude in how Russ plays on the court, and there's not doubt that both KD and Russ have a winners' drive, so Kobe definitely sees a lot of what's made him successful in that.

@MisterJohnsonOKC It's been a long time coming. I watched a fair amount of Minny this year and got sick of a severe lack of effort on defense. Between that, the fact that his laziness is keeping him from playing USA ball and from what imo is a sense of entitlement, I just don't really like him anymore.

@dancassidy35/FreeMonroefromDET! @MisterJohnsonOKC Hard to keep up a high level of excitement/effort when you know your team and management is just flat out lousy. He can go off for 50 on any given night, but it's not enough. that's gotta grind on you after a while.
