Well, he made it at least.
As if there was any doubt, Russell Westbrook was named to the West’s All-Star team as a reserve on Thursday. He was notably snubbed as a starter by virtue of the fan vote tiebreaker last week.
Westbrook is joined by Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, DeMarcus Cousins, Marc Gasol, DeAndre Jordan and Gordon Hayward.
It’s Westbrook’s sixth appearance at the All-Star Game, five coming as a reserve. He’s won the MVP the last two years.
