He didn’t win Defensive Player of the Year, or even finish runner-up this time, but Serge Ibaka was still named one of the league’s best defenders this season.
Ibaka was named to his second consecutive first team All-Defense, joining Tony Allen, LeBron James, Chris Paul and Joakim Noah and Tyson Chandler, who were tied.
Second team was Defensive Player of the Year Marc Gasol, Tim Duncan, Paul George, Avery Bradley and Mike Conley.
