Thunder sign DeAndre Liggins and Andy Rautins

The Thunder announced Wednesday they’ve added two more names to the training camp roster as Andy Rautins and DeAndre Liggins have signed on with Oklahoma City.

Liggins is a 6-6 forward that spent last season with the Orlando Magic. In 17 games during the 2011-12 season he averaged of 1.9 points and 0.9 rebounds in 6.8 minutes.

Rautins, a 6-4 guard, is primarily a 3-point specialist and spent last season playing for Lucentum Alicante overseas. Before that he was a member of the New York Knicks.

The two additions puts the Thunder’s roster at 18. Only 15 players are permitted on the final regular season roster so it’ll be a competition between Rautins, Liggins, undrafted free agent Hollis Thompson and Daniel Orton for that final spot.

I know we don't have room for Fisher--and I don't prefer him over Maynor--but I can't help but feel he brought something to our team that will be missed. Just thinking of all the times I saw him talking intensely to our guys courtside during timeouts.

@ThunderChick2010 @Crow sure, guys can have impact in one season and some residual impact on team growth and cultural development. it was an understandable choice last season. one season was probably enough. but some sites make it sound like the door is not 100% shut so i briefly brought it up.

@OBoymuzik probably a good idea for Darnell to do a favor for one of the brotherhood before the season. try to prime the story pump for the next season. and i guess now Clay's family is no longer his ultimate boss.

I think we are setting up a Liggins and Rautins for Monroe blockbuster. We'll inflate there value with our awesomeness then trade them at their peak for Monroe... it's a great plan.
