Think about this one: Either Kevin Durant or LeBron James becomes an NBA champion. So that’s pretty cool. And also makes me dizzy with nausea.
The Thunder split the regular season with the Heat, both teams winning on their home floors. The series starts in Oklahoma City on Tuesday as the Thunder have homecourt advantage. Here’s the full schedule (times Central):

Do most people think KD and LeBron will guard each other when both are in the game? I'm not sure if both coaches want their main guys expending that kind of energy on defense, but they may not have much of a choice... Thoughts?

We're forcing Battier/Haslem to score and they want to force Ibaka/Perk. I think that favors us because Harden/KD are >>> floor spacers compared to LBJ/Wade
KD forcing fouls on Battier is also gonna be huge. Need to force Miami to go deeper in the bench to some of the weaker players (miller/jones or chalmers)

I don't think he can guard Russ Westbrook. I know he guarded DRose but Russ is a much better jump shooter now than DRose was last year.

I think Wade is terrified of Perk. What I would like to see is Perk just kick Wade in the head again somewhere in the first period of Game 1 and set the tone. Miami has no one who will retaliate--so just right there and then...set the tone with a head kick of Wade.

To me-- Russ is the key to the series. Chalmers cannot be allowed to play at Russell's level. I would look for KD and LeBron to cancel each other out. Russ has a great opportunirty to the Finals MVP if he brings his five star Bad Little Dude game. I'm ready for basketball games again. I'm refreshed. The break has been nice, but it's time to resume the ultimate goal.

The key to all of this is that OKC's offense remembers how it played against Miami at home in the regular season and against San Antonio in game 3: Keep the offense moving at a high pace.
