Kevin Durant engaged to WNBA player Monica Wright
Kevin Durant is signing a new long-term contract.
First reported by Media Takeout, confirmed by the Oklahoman, and also again by a source close to Durant, KD is engaged to girlfriend Monica Wright, proposing on Friday night.
Wright, 25, plays for the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA.
And in fact, she confirmed it herself Sunday evening:

The couple hasn’t really been public with their relationship with Durant recently playing coy during an interview at a Lynx game about why he was there.
Just like Durant, Wright was selected No. 2 overall by the Lynx in 2010. And her name is the same as the main female character in “Love & Basketball.” Match. Made. In. Heaven.
