Kevin Durant out against the Lakers

Welcome back to the Russell Westbrook Show, come inside, come inside.

Kevin Durant will not play Friday against the Lakers because of the sprained ankle he suffered last night against the Warriors. The injury is not considered serious, and Durant will be re-evaluated on Saturday with a determination coming before gametime if he can go against the Pelicans on Sunday.

Durant injured the ankle late in the first half by stepping on Marreese Speights’ foot. Durant said he could’ve returned, but the team took precaution with it being on his surgically repaired right foot. In just 18 minutes, Durant dropped 30.
