Kevin-Durant-&-Russell-Westbrook Doomsday Device. Houston’s gotta figure something out, and fast. James Harden hasn’t looked like himself, Ty Lawson doesn’t fit in yet, Dwight Howard rested on Sunday and his status is unknown for this game, and both sides of the ball are rough. Meanwhile, you get Patrick Beverley vs. Russell Westbrook, which is always entertaining, if slightly scary, and Harden meeting his old teammates. This is a marquee matchup to start with. KD is going to be available for every game this week.

Kevin Durant with a nice comp for Victor Oladipo : “I know this may sound maybe a little too early,” Durant said, “but he reminds me a lot of Dwyane Wade in his body, his athleticism and how he gets to the basket. I’m not saying he’s Dwyane Wade, but he reminds me a lot of him. He’s definitely looking forward to taking on that role.”
