Report: Mike Miller picks the Grizzlies

Hey, at least Derek Fisher is back, right?

According to Marc Stein of ESPN.com, Mike Miller has notified the Grizzlies that he’s choosing them.

The Thunder pushed hard to get him, but likely the fact Miller has a strong connection to Memphis having played six seasons for the Grizzlies.

That likely puts a cap on the Thunder’s free agent travails as they have 15 players under contract and are still under the tax.

Miller would have been a very solid addition because of his ability to shoot from the outside and play a role. He could’ve added some veteran insurance on the Thunder’s bench, which will be much younger this season relying on Jeremy Lamb and Reggie Jackson.
