Russell Westbrook is back on a basketball court

Well, not like that. At least not yet.

These are pictures from Russell Westbrook’s annual Why Not? youth basketball camp that got sent to me. And aren’t they just so d’awwwww?

One thing that needs to be noted: Westbrook is always incredibly involved and active at his camp, something that can’t be said for a lot of NBA stars. A lot of players just show up, sign a few things, take a couple of pictures and get out. But Westbrook is part of the camp, which is just really cool.

As for when Westbrook will be back on the court for real, that’s getting close. He’s right on track to be ready for training camp and barring any kind of setback, should be available for the Thunder’s first regular season game.
