Steven Adams working out for the Thunder
Per his Facebook page, prospect Steven Adams is in Oklahoma City and worked out for the Thunder today.
Adams is a seven-footer from New Zealand who played one season at Pitt before entering the draft this year. Most mock drafts and big boards have him still available for the Thunder at No. 12, with a lot of them having OKC taking him there.
“I’d love to be drafted here, man, straight up,” Adams says in the video.
He was really impressed by OKC’s practice facility, calling it “mean” and “ridiculous” a number of times. As someone that’s seen it and been around it, I can confirm. It’s very mean.
He also seems to be impressed that the Thunder is sponsored by Hooters.
I think I like this Steven Adams guy.
