Bee Shapiro of the NY Times on Russell Westbrook at Fashion Week: It was hard to miss Russell Westbrook during New York Fashion Week, and not just because the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard stands 6-foot-3 and weighs around 185 pounds. There he was last Friday, in the front row at the Rag & Bone show — in a blue-print, long-sleeve shirt, olive trousers cuffed into capris and a felt bowler hat — as paparazzi swarmed around him and his seatmate, Anna Wintour. There he was again Saturday night, among the early arrivals at Altuzarra, dressed in a print T-shirt and overalls, and chatting with Vogue editors (he was once again a guest of Ms. Wintour) and other members of the press while waiting for the scheduled 8 p.m. show to finally begin.”

KD tweeted yesterday: “9-11. All I could remember was seeing smoke coming up Suitland Parkway from the pentagon and praying that my Mom was ok at work.”

Drake tried ti impress KD with his jumper.

From the Christian Post: “Keri Hilson, the 30-year-old singer-songwriter, recently revealed that she has rededicated her life to Jesus Christ. Hilson recently admitted that she has been getting compliments from others who have noticed that her appearance seems to be glowing. The singer credited her romantic union with Oklahoma City Thunder power forward Serge Ibaka along with a strengthened relationship with Jesus Christ.”

Michael Beasley signed with the Heat, if you hadn’t heard.

Kevin Pelton of ESPN Insider lists out 10 players likely to be dealt this season: “Omer Asik: Dwight Howard’s arrival in Houston doesn’t necessarily mean Asik’s exit. The Rockets will surely experiment with playing both big men together after successfully starting Asik alongside another paint-bound player, Greg Smith, late in the regular season. But if that combination clogs up Houston’s spacing on offense, Asik is much too valuable to relegate to backing up Howard. If the Rockets can parlay him into a stretch 4 to complement Howard, GM Daryl Morey surely won’t hesitate to pull the trigger.”
