Behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 24 points,  the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Charlotte Hornets 109-107.

The Thunder withstood a fourth-quarter flurry from Miles Bridges, who hit four threes to bring the Hornets back into the contest.

With nine seconds left on the clock, Gilgeous-Alexander brought the ball up and hit a mid-range pull-up jumper to give the Thunder the lead with one second left.

In total, five Thunder players finished in double figures, as the new-age Thunder win in its opening game.
