3 Big Things
- Portland’s Super Bowl. It was reported that Damian Lillard would be dropping shoes to commemorate his game winning half court shot to send the Thunder home… TWO YEARS AGO. That’s apparently the best moment in his career, but that’s beside the point. These players see stuff like this; I wouldn’t be surprised if the Thunder came out with a little something extra after such news drops.
- Availability. We knew we’d be missing Horford, but George Hill is now out as well. Portland comes in short handed without CJ McCollum, Zach Collins, and Jusuf Nurkic. An excellent opportunity for Shai and even Bazley to get out of his funk.
- Dort vs. Dame. Love him or hate him, Dame is a bucket. He is a problem. He is one of the best guards in the league. A matchup that Dort relishes. Dort failed to make a 3 last gam– breaking his season streak. Don’t be surprised if he comes out angry at something (or someone) and ready to make a statement.
