The Memphis Grizzlies finally won their first game inside the Orlando Bubble. Despite the Thunder’s efficient start in the first quarter that resulted in a 12 point lead, the Grizzlies wanted victory. The early deficit faced by Memphis was quickly reversed and Oklahoma City visibly lost their motivation.

The absence of key players like Steven Adams for precautionary reasons, along with Mike Muscala and Dennis Schröder was noticeable. The Thunder looked unmotivated which hurt their ability to make buckets. Overall, the numbers don’t lie. The field goal percentage for OKC was 35.1% compared to the Grizzlies 55.4%, proving that Memphis was ready to prove they are a possible contender for that 8th seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

With this loss, OKC is sure to go back down to 6th place in the West, keeping all Thunder fans on our toes. Who will they face in the first round of the playoffs? Nobody knows.
