KD wants to be like Larry

Here’s Kevin Durant’s interview with Magic Johnson from the other night where he says he’s trying to emulate Larry Bird’s game. Which I think is incredibly wise. KD’s skillset really sets up be Basketball Jesus 2.0. A big guy with a silky outside touch, a great handle and good passing skills.

Also, another thing I love about this interview: You can just tell how much respect KD has for Magic. Not that Durant’s intimidated, but he’s also not puffing his chest out about who he is. He kind of looks like how most any normal person might act talking to Earvin.
