Darnell Mayberry on Jeremy Lamb: “But it’ll be hard to contain excitement or disappointment for Jeremy Lamb. Most will be watching the second-year shooting guard with a keen eye. He was one of the five assets the Thunder received in the trade that sent James Harden to Houston. And with Kevin Martin set to sign with Minnesota, Lamb is expected to now be a larger part of the team’s plans this season. Is he ready? Summer league will provide our first indication. It will be Lamb’s first summer with the Thunder. He competed with the Rockets’ summer league team last year.”

Reggie Jackson: “I don’t know what my role is. I try not to think about it too much. Whatever I’m thrown into next year, I’ll be ready for it. It’s definitely part of the reason I’ve been happy to get away, get out to LA and train as hard as I’ve been training so far. I’ve just been working as hard as possible. Ready for whatever role Scotty (Brooks) flings me into next year.”
Maz Trakh has apparently joined Mo Cheeks’ staff in Detroit as he was on the Pistons’ bench yesterday at Summer League.

And Abrines got exactly what he wanted, linking up with an organization known for its international research/development and, more importantly, securing the unbinding financial regulations that come with being a second-round pick.”

Jackson dazzled with his play in Orlando last summer, giving the first hint that he’d be ready to step into the point guard job when Russell Westbrook went down.”
