I haven’t written one of these in a while (shout out to Alex, who is awesome at them), so here’s my big important take on this game: Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis are playing. It’s gonna be a pretty rad game with super big stat lines, I think.

Also, Buddy Hield is back in Oklahoma, but he’s played real bad this season and may not play at all tonight, which is pretty sad. But he’s at least here.

I think this is the main thing: The Thunder need to win this game. This falls into that category of Should Win, and they have to take advantage of as many of them as they can. The Pelicans are improved, and haven’t been bad since Jrue Holiday returned, but still, OKC’s at home and the Pelicans aren’t great. So the Thunder need to win.
