- Awkward. There isn't any bad blood between OKC and Josh Giddey after the team swapped him for Alex Caruso this summer. But if the Thunder cause an ugly debut for Giddey and the Bulls...in a city that isn't bashful about booing its own...things could get awkward.
- Bounce backs? The Thunder won by 15 in Denver despite some poor team-wide shooting. I will stop making jokes about Round 2 being over once these guys start hitting over 33% of their threes. (But I'm also not ready to worry about regression to the mean, relative to their lethal shooting last season.)
- From the comments: Patchy ball-handling throughout the wingy guard rotation has been flagged for the new-look Thunder. Will the offense continue to keep players like Caruso, Cason, and (eventually) Hartenstein reined in as connectors? Or will playmaking duties expand yet beyond the team's star scorers?

I'm not rooting for anyone to be booed, but I'm forecasting for the conditions under which Josh Giddey and the Chicago fan base will have a miserable Saturday evening. Thunder by 18.
